Hey, is it just my system, or is the chat down?

Hmmmm, I just noticed - my Core doesn't send ANY SysEx at all. Not even with the test_tx program. It used to give me some SysEx with that, and the SID_V2 still works, too! ??? What 's up with that? MidiOx is configured correctly though (tested with my Roland Synth) and the MidiOut on the Core is hooked up correctly, too... Strange. Any idea, TK? /edit: Some add. info

Gotta love Reichelt - I never had an order where anything was missing or broken ;D Plus they're fast, too. And the prices are basically always lower than Conrad,... Everybody come order at Reichelt! (No, I don't get paid by 'em to say that) ;)

??? Ok, since the SID played that beautiful song with the test program it appears to work. So, I assume that the problem I have is a software problem. I still only get that clicking sound no matter what I do. I tried playing some notes on channel 1 using JSynth (tried Presets, too), MidiOX and my keyboard - all I hear is "click"... :(

Hi! When I test my SID (Core stuffed with 16F) with the SID_V2 test program, I get that wonderful chord at startup. ;D After that, I should according to µcApps be able to play notes on Channels 1-3. Whenever I sent notes to the core, all I get's a clicking sound. One "click" for note on, another one for the note off event. ??? Has anybody ever come across the same problem? Any ideas?

Nee, das mit dem RealTime war bei mir leider nicht der Fall, das hatte ich schon eingestellt *verzweifel* :-[

Hi! Did that with no luck. The SID is hooked up to my mixer, so I should know when it's clipping, which it doesn't appear to do.

It won't burn. I get the 0000h error. Voltages are ok and ALL delays and settings have been tested... The polarised caps are correctly installed. I'm using the Cas the TK suggested in his orderlist. Heys, my resistor reads B547C. Is that important? ??? I tried a lot of presets I got with the JSynth - they all sound like I described above... Strange.

Hi! Since I can't program my PIC18F due to the same problems some other guys in here have, I decided to go with the PIC16F for now. So far so good. Core is ok. Sends SysEx and all. SID Voltages are all great. 5.01V and 12.00V. Yippieh ;D Hooked everything up. I can play sounds via JSynth, too. But instead of cool sounds I get something that sounds like "bshh k". Any idea what the problem might be? ???

Selbes Problem hier. Kann meinen 16F877 beschreiben wie ich will, auf meinen 18F kann ich nur "FFFF FFFF..." schreiben, sonst kommt der 0000h Error. Spannungen sind supi, alle Einstellungen durchprobiert. Könnte kotzen.

Hey TK, on the µCApps Pages it says Didn't we come across that topic a couple of days ago in the forum? I'm not that familiar with the GNU License, but I think you should check / update your FAQ on that one?!

It's a two line (is that how you call it?), two position toggle. I cannot seem to find those anywhere...

Just have to add my two pennies =) I had this idea in my mind for some time. That would be grabbing some old keyboard (some old Yamaha PSR or something ), ripping everything out and build a SIDbox into it =) Like a regular synth integrated into an old synth / keyboard... Hmmm, I gotta go create a design for that one =)
