Ok I think its like that: If on the Gain of the VCA is no Voltage, the VCA outputs no sound. The Gain of the VCA, is controlled via the Envelope The Envelope: You press a key, and the keyboard send a "Gate on" Signal. With this Signal the envelope starts (triggers): Attack comes and the Voltage get higher, until Decay is reached. Decay hold this Voltage as long a new Gate Signal comes. If this is a "Gate off Signal": The Suistain comes, it gives a static signal, until Release comes (and acts like the decay) Then the Release comes, and the Voltage goes down. (Release acts like Attack only invertet) If this is a "Gate on Signal": I am not sure. But if this so works, I think midibox SID can handle this. The ENV output on the CV board, have already integratet this. (correct me if I am wrong please) Because the Midibox ENV is software based (?) and it already triggers the envelope with the gates? So I dont need any Gate signal on my layout because I use the digital ENV for my TB303. 2nd need is the Resonance Pot, I want it to CV. Since it is Stereo Pot. And feedbacks Signals, I need a simply dual VCA, or a simply VCR (voltage controlled resistor) which can handle this. The one part of the Stereo part, mixes extra Accent to the VCF. The Other part of the Stereo Pot Feedbacks the Filteroutput to the Filter input or whereever :-). So maybe the Resonance Pot-problem, can make with a single VCA, which only feedbacks the signal, the extra accent can be emulatet, since the Single VCA is driven via CV over the Midibox, it must be possible to add, by turning the RES-Encoder on the SID - to add a bit Accent to the Velocity CV-Out...but Since I am a analoge human I dont know if this possible, and if it is possible I dont can programm that :-\.... So This must be a Dual VCA (op amp or what ever...) Cool Idea is the MB-sidechain You take the basedrum amplify it, connect it with a yellow LED, and put on the LED a LDR, the output of the LDR must be amplifyed too, ant then you go in a MB-AIN. Here you can duck the MB-SID-Volume-Envelope, and you have a sidechain VCA, between: good sidechaincompressors outthere working with VCAs! The point where the Sidechain in the SID-application must be, is, always on last position!, Meens: If you route a LFO a Envelope and the Sidechain to the Cutoff of the SID. the Sidechain, can reduce the Controll-voltage, to the minimum, elswere, the LFO would amplify it agin 8) But this of course is in first thing a programming thing :P , the analog circuit, would be so easy. And If you want the sidehain to be mor linear: You must take instead of LED and LDR, Transistors! Amplyfiy it Rectify it,- put it in the AIN (but more of this later) The Other Idea, would be take, the sidchainsignal, and trigger the envelope with it, but the upper idea is much smoother anybody can explain what a audio buffer is? is this done with simply building a OPamp - amp??? ???

As I said bevore, there exist already a software, with that you can make by drug and drop a Onscreen Midibox (for windows), like this: http://www.livelab.dk/tablet2midi.php but this is not for free :-\

In the SEQV3 describten I read "total recall..." Ok, can SEQ3 controlled via Midi CCs? Eg, for every Step a cc? I ask this becaus, there are not quite much endless fader out there. There are the Touch sensitiv Resistors (like from Notebook -touchpads) outthere with muchLEDs in behind to provide total recall on slider input devices. Now whats about a Touchscreen, and a slow pc, with a graphical slider interface wich acts as total recall midicontroller- can do this thing (it already exists, and the Interface can fully easy changed....) interactive with the SEQ3, it can even SEQ3 have midicontroll? I have made a 64x100 fader interface and I still raape Ableton live as a stepsequencer with it, while every fader controll a step (or a stepgroup)...with this you can easyly jam around for ours, because, there is one move and you have a cool sequence, because you see the notes not as C1 and C3, you see, "höhenunterschiede die die Tonhöhe andeuten...) a fader on the top is high tune...and so on...... but it is´n total recall...because fader cant be...(yes with motorfaders ;D but that is....hoho to expensive...but maybe ;) so I thougt, hm maybe touchscreen (cause I have one at home with 17"...) here is the picture with the Midibox 64 (with 100mm sliders to sequence....)

Weil ihrgendwelche Programm codes von einem Programm (midimon) in ein anderes Integrieren (multi-master-clock) is mir ein bißchen zu heftig :o , da hab ich zuwenig durchblick Greats- phat

Hallo, ist die 7SEgment LED anzeige für BPM schon implementiert? weil auf dieser http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=midimasterclock SKIZZE ist sie ja drauf, nur bei der Zugehörigen PDF nicht http://www.ucapps.de/mios/clockbox_multi.pdf ??? Frage, weil ich schon die multi clocbox mit LCD aufgebaut hab, und ich sie ein bißchen spärig finde, wollte deshalb ne kompakte platine entwerfen, mit 3 so 7segment anzeigen einen rotary und ein paart tasten.

The first try doesnt have any affect: Uploading a Midibox 64 software for 8 pots - no effect same problem.

Hi all, I have chattet now a time... im glueless... I have: CORE V3 from Mike Midibox64 v2.4 mios v.1.9 pic18f452 And 2 self designed 32 Fader (100mm 10K linear) board (250x250mm big) There are stuffed with 64 peaces 10K faders and 8 Philips HCT 4051D Multiplexers -SMD!, they are pinncobatible with the big ones (I have that info from the datasheet) I dont have much bridges or wires...bcp etching... A Problem: OK all Pots on the 0 1 2 3 inputs of the 4051 are ok and work perfectley- and on I become controller data ;D hell yea!!! BUTTTTTT: All Pots on the 4 5 6 7 inputs work also perfectley (voltage and so on u know) but the 4051 dont send any data out!!!! ??? hm and that by all 8 Multiplexers!!!! So I have only 32 instead of 64 pots... What I tried before I wrote this topic: I chatet with smash and other guys... I stuffed to existing bypass 100nFs (2mm near by all 8 multiplexers) to all power connectors (incl J5 from Core) I Stuffed a 1uF Cap to the powersupply corner I tried 3 different powersuppleys, from a 500mA 7.5V walladapter (traffo)-to a 15V 1.5A Traffo (good clean thing) to a 12V 1A switching powersupply (bad and ugly) I checked all (all!) leads (there are not so many) I checked the connection from every pin of every 4051 to the core modul to the PIC legs I checked the voltages AND I took one old 64pot vector board (lochraster qualität- urbäd) with standart 4051 on it and also 64pots on it. This board works perfectley with this pic and with this Core V3. ajo was ich noch fragen wollte: Was ergibt das ungefähr für eine Latenz wenn, ich ins Core über den RS232 fahre- also welche verzögerung hab ich nach dem RS232 dann?

Wolt fragen wies mit einem Midi2Lan interface ausschaut... Nachdems ja schon Midi Over LAN gibt - quasi Lan zu Lan Muss es doch möglich sein Midi zu Lan zu bringen? Es gibt ja die Midibox 2 Com mit dem Rs232? Von Com dann auf einen COM-LAN adapter sowas z.B. http://www.ipcas.de/produkte/rs232-rs485-ethernet-konverter.html das könnte rein theoretisch funktionieren? Direkt geht nehm ich mal nix oder? PIC zu LAN? :) oder besteht grund zur hoffnung? (Da mich die USB interfaces mit den immer unterschiedlichen Latenzen ganz schön angehen (bei jedem Start/Stop sync neu einstellen ...latenz ausgleich usw........das typische vorhandene Problem wenn man einen hardware sequenzer syncron zu einem softwaresequenzer über usb zum laufen bringen will-und das für immer und net jedes mal neu einstellen? da wirst ja blöd bei!)

Ich weis es geht ums geld und net um midiboxen...aber beide haben leider miteinander was zu tun...und bei einer welt wo man mal schnell in der usa oder china Komponenten bestellt is man ohne anscheinend aufgeschmissen,-also: Ich will dem WILBA für sein 8fachSID-Board Geld überweisen, jetzt hab ich mir so ein paypal konto angelegt, jetzt kann ich aber erst recht nix überweisen- weil paypall nur Einzahlungen per Kredikarte annimmt. nimm den 78S05 das ist der gleiche wie der 7805 nur halt statt 1A - 2A- wird weniger heiß.... eventuell je nach anwendung sparst dir damit einen Kühlkörper....

rotary encoder: kriegst du billig bei www.voti.nl schließt du an das DIN modul an. Und richtig 10K liniear mono sind die fader.
