  1. wow, this is VERY interesting :o
  2. ??? what reverb ? there's no reverb in a 303
  3. Absolutely ;D I'll send a few samples (with the MB mod) this evening I do care about it ! I like the 303 sequencer, even if it's not handy at first.
  4. Do you know the Novation BassStation Synth ? It's a cheap monophonic analog bass synth, that is supposed to emulate the 303 sound. In fact it's pretty different, and do not have a sequencer. It's midi driven. I opened mine, (it's a 1U rack) and there is room for a core module in it. So i have added a mb core in it, with a little arpegiator program, and i must say that it's cool, i got some nice moogish sounds out of it... So, i think it's a good base to do another, but different, 303 clone :)
  5. Here is a little application that is very usefull to me, so i'm happy to share it : http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/mb_sync24 I'll post videos very soon =)
  6. About the sda/sdl pushup resistors, that documentation says : ok. The core v3 is allready stuffed with 1K resistors for sda/sdl, so we dont have to worry about this =) But, on some other documents, i found that those pullup resistors values should be changed, depending of the I2C clock frequency. So, my question is : what is the MIOS I2C clock frequency ? (i'm just wondering)
  7. I like the idea very much, but i'm sure the lil chip can produce much better music than this. I'm very curious of listening the whole thing anyway :) ... ouch :-X it's 72.18 EUR ... http://store3.esellerate.net/store/catalog.aspx?s=STR6485295759&pc= does anyone here bought it ?
  8. Essais ça : http://jambonbill.free.fr/midibox-kb/mios19f_18f452.syx et, au cas ou : débranche tes potards et tes boutons pour faire la manip. (laisse juste l'écran pour voir ce qui se passe)
  9. Hey, this cart looks great !!! How can i get one ? it's a long time i want to hear my nsf's on the real hardware :)
  13. I found that page, that was pretty usefull to me, so... http://www.robot-electronics.co.uk/htm/using_the_i2c_bus.htm

  18. aah, ok, sorry it was unclear to me... so, i dont know yet if they 'sound', but, for a live performance, unless if you are using microphones of course, it should not be a problem !
  19. What is this ??? This item looks cool too http://www.robot-electronics.co.uk/shop/Serial_Interface2110.htm :)
  20. http://www.robot-electronics.co.uk/shop/Ultrasonic_Rangers1999.htm ::) Some are not that expensive (10£), and maybe they can do good "dbeam like" sensors ? Do you think they worth the try ?
  21. I have this document : http://www.roboter-teile.de/datasheets/sd20.pdf can someone translate this to me : I dont understand a german word, and google translator didn't help me much :( Should i write something to register 21 before i can use standard mode ? :-\
