Praktisch ist XLR auf jeden fall. Ich hab halt nur angst davor dass irgendwer mal mein NT ans MP anstöpselt und dann 'ne Nebelmaschine daraus macht... Was ich mir auch überlegt habe sind XLR-Banksticks... neulich habe ich farbige XLR-stecker bei pollin gesehen...ausserdem fände ich die runden XLR-BSs auch optisch ansprechender als die SUB-D-BSs.. my 2c

hmm.. ich hab gerade bemerkt dass du ja einen 4-poligen XLR stecker benutzt... ich hab nämlich den klassischen 3-pin-Mikro-stecker ...

Wie hoch ist eigentlich die gefahr, dass man das Netzteil (mit dem XLR-Stecker) mal aus versehen an ein Michpult oder Mikro ansteckt? Hab nämlich dasselbe gemacht und hab jetzt ein bisschen Panik dass meine Bandleute da was durcheinanderbringen :-\

I want to know the same, but my OS is XP. I asked this question several times in other threads, but no one really answered it. I'd also like to know how you print the layout on lazertran or self-adhesive foil so that the dimensions fit. (e.g. that a 5mm hole has a diameter of exactly 5mm) matthias

If there's a company that thinks about re-building the SID-Chip, I think that they'll eleminate all those little bugs of the original chip. The bugs we love. Those small imperfections... nothing's better than the original...

Also ich muss sagen dass das *Säurefreie!!* Lötfett bei mit eigentlich super funzt und da nix brückt oder wegätzt. So 'ne Dose is übrigens ungeheuer ergiebig. Damit hat schon mein Opa gelötet. Es is auch super zum verzinnen von kabelenden.

MIOS-mässig kann ich Dir nicht so richtig weiterhelfen :-\ . Das Programmieren könnte man vereinfachen indem Du für die MTC-anzeige einfach einen zweiten Core als MidiMon verwendest. matthias

midibox.org has about 3.000 members. let's say that every 3rd member has really build a MB, then there should be photos of 1000 Midiboxes online. I haven's counted the photos in the gallery yet but i think there are way less than 1000 MBs online.. btw. the frontpanel should be anodized aluminium, but the guy who made the holes for the sliders made a lot of scratches into it. So I just took some blue self-adhesive foil. matthias

Dude... backlit, velocity sensitive.... I don't want to keep you from realizing it but that sounds pretty difficult... ::)
