sure. :-[ I've been tired... it was a stupid mistake
-
I'd take 2 pieces. also ich würd noch 2 nehmen. So'n faderfox-teil wär schon ne tolle sache :) Ausserdem habt Ihr dann gerade Zahlen ;)
-
Interesting stuff... But i doubt whether it it really able to produce the real analog SID-sound. (nice guestbook, btw. ;D)
-
No ideas? ??? Is it likely that this problem is caused by the PSU?
-

well... now that makes me feel a bit doubtful whether it's right what i've said... ::) Can you tell me where you've read that? But I'm 100% sure that it's possible to use the MF-module with non-motorised-faders. yep. But it could be possible to connect more than 1 MF-module to the core. you should look that up. But as long as you just use 1 MF-module you're able to connect 8 (or less) faders. A DINx1 supports 8 analog inputs. If you need 9 AINs you can build your own DINx2 board (16 inputs) or you can order an common DINx4 from smash or mike and just leave the 2 multiplexers away as you don't need them. BUT (!) after your post I'm not 100% sure that you can use AINs with the LC-application. AND (!) I don't know anything about the LC-protocol. I don't know whether a 9th fader will work. matthias

just leave the MF-module out and connect the middle pin of the slider to one AIN. the outer pins should be connected to +5V and GND.

background? everything you can hear shouldn't be there. the 50Hz buzz and the "usual"-SID-and-PSU-noise isn't the problem. I turn it on and the noise starts. If I send any note-on messages nothing happens.
-
I do always hear that noise, not only after powering on.. noise2.zip noise2.zip

ok. problem solved hmm.. there aren't very many mistakes left that I haven't done ;D I just didn't push one multiplexer entirely into the socket. New problem - same headline: If I upload the SID-application and start the MB, I hear some really weird sound. I'll record it later. I tried every single Core-SID combination, and tried with both the PIC18F452 and PIC18F4685. It's always the same. After booting up, i shouldn't hear any sound, right? There's no BankStick connected. thx, matthias

but I prefer attaching them to the posts.

nice design, but I don't think this is the right place to post it :/
-
I think this one is better. btw. i'll delete the pictures in my last posts... you all know what happened yesterday... I already have a bad conscience ::)

I don't like the picture myself. the colors are so cold. In reality it's much more warmer. Oh yeah! ;D
-
damn! I'm so stupid. I actually wanted to upload the picture of my carpet. ;D EDIT: picture of carpet deleted.
-
wow... i never thought that the aluminium rings around the LEDs would look so nice! hehe ;D I'm personally not a fan of those oriental rugs. I prefer those "modern art"-like carpets. EDIT: picture of open MB-SID removed. It's still here: http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php?topic=9268.msg66093#new

while searching for some laser-overclocking-instructions, i found several veery interesting pages: DIY-waterjet: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-16526.html Amateur Laser Construction: http://www.repairfaq.org/sam/lasercon.htm Transmit Audio with a Laser Pen: http://www.makezine.com/blog/archive/2005/05/transmit_audio.html http://www.i-hacked.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=162&Itemid=44 and this site is absolutely awesome: http://www.hackaday.com/2007/03/18/make-your-own-fusion-reactor/ check out the other hacks on that page, too.

Stryd, didn't you want me NOT to open a poll concerning illegal software? ;D well, you may do that. you're an admin :P You should send your songs to michael moore. he's famous. If the cops really try to get you, he could make a nice documentary movie. ;)
-
what about overclocking his laser ? ;D ;D
-
Why didn't you just go to the guy with the laser-cutter? Isn't it possible to laser-cut aluminum?
-

yeah... that sucks.... my internal hdd broke some months ago (hitachi)... and I had -all- my stuff on it. there were just very few backup CDs. that was shocking...
