hi sasha, i would be interested in a set of xoxbox pcb´s, but first i have to source the components. if i remember right, the xoxbox uses all originial parts, right? did you already find a source for the hard to get transistors? and i think a ba662a is also needed? very expensive. but the ram chip set is sold frequently on ebay for a reasonable price... maybe we do something like a small group buy for the hard to find parts? best wishes, tobias

hi sasha, i can post some samples at the weekend. to get a slight idea, watch this: http://www.mdz.de/www/blog/106#more-106 that´s mainly a demonstration of how easy it is to build an lfo, but the lfo is modulating the breadboarded ssm2044 circuit. a roland mc202 was used as oscillator. quite poor soundquality and even poorer picturequality. the little clip was shot with my digital camera, that explains the poorness quite good ;D but for a first idea it´s ok. i´ll post some audio samples as soon as possible. best wishes, tobias.

also, meine erfahrung mit dem zoll ist, daß bisher fast alles unbehelligt durchkam. sogar eine ziemlich große plattenbestellung von submerge (waren um die 70 platten) oder auch ziemlich große ic-lieferungen (300-500 ic´s in einem päckchen). ich mußte bisher nur einmal zum zoll, und da hat der versender vergessen, die sendung als geschenk zu kennzeichnen. wenn du bauteile und sowas bestellst, mußt du, falls du beim zoll antanzen mußt, sagen, daß es sich um computerteile handelt. dann fällt nur die umsatzsteuer an, kein einfuhrzoll. wenn du zb sagst, es handelt sich um synthesizer bauteile, schauen die in eine liste, finden dort natürlich nichts, und berechnen dir neben der umsatzsteuer den höchst möglichen einfuhrzoll für musikinstrumente ??? gruß, tobias

naja, ich denke schon, daß wir zumindest ein recht ähnliches angebot bekommen werden falls das aktuelle verfällt... zur abwicklung: würde ich so machen, daß es, wenn denn vitales interesse besteht, eine deadline gibt, bis zu der verbindliche mengen angegeben werden, dann schicke ich eine konkrete anfrage an weltronic mit verbindlichen mengen, dann wird geld eingesammelt, bezahlt und versendet. sollte zumindest in der theorie sollte das klappen. um den leuten sicherheit zu geben, daß alles korrekt abgewickelt wird bekommt jeder den schriftverkehr mit weltronic, meine adresse und telefonnummer per mail, wegen transparenz und so... wäre auf jeden fall cool, wenn das alles klappt ;D

morgen, also, wenn du bei electro-music anfragen könntest, wäre das gut. wollte das nicht machen, weil es ja schon komisch aussieht, wenn da einer ankommt und in seinem ersten posting gleich eine sammelbestellung anleiert. musikding ist ne gute idee, werde ich mal anfragen. btw: ich habe zwischenzeitlich mal bei precision resistor direkt angefragt, aber die verkaufen nur innerhalb der usa und verweisen auch auf weltronic. und bei ka-electronics sind mir die tempco´s zu teuer. und vintageplanet baut gerade seine seite zum webshop um, keine ahnung wann da wieder was geht. also bleibt die idee der sammelbestellung auch trotz geringem interesse noch am leben. gruß, tobias.

ich hab schon jemand, der mir per gewerbeschein teile besorgen kann. ist mir halt nur meist zu umständlich, vor allem wenn´s nur um ein paar teile geht. aber klar, in den usa bestellen macht auch nur bei einer größeren bestellung sinn... hach, man hat´s nicht leicht! ;D

naja, that300/320 kosten bei ka-electronics 4.60$ das stück..., ab 10 stück 4$. das ist schon billiger als die ssm´s. dafür hatte ich glaube ich mal ein angebot um die 8 € pro stück... und die that´s sind gematchte 4-fach transistoren. und darüber hinaus recht schwer zu bekommen. außer ka-elec habe ich noch nicht viele anbieter, die an endkunden verkaufen, gefunden. und wenn, dann entweder sehr teuer oder nur in großer stückzahl. ich glaube, senso von vintageplanet hat auch welche, kann mich aber täuschen...

ha! das war genau der thread im sequencerforum, den ich gesucht habe. danke für die erklärenden worte, herr modularkomplex. ich meine mich auch tatsächlich zu erinnern, daß die preise da höher waren, zumindest im bereich von 50 einheiten. naja, um so besser ;D ach ja, und blöderweise belibt´s ja nie bei einem projekt, wenn man mal angefixt ist, gibt´s kein ende... deshalb brauchen auch die ucapps besucher gelegentlich mal so komisches zeugs wie ptc widerstände... ;D wegen den that chips muß ich dann gleich mal schauen. schönes wochenende und so, t.

electro-music ist ne gute idee... an den ssm 2210/2220 hätte ich auch interesse, oder that300/320, allerdings sehe ich da keine andere chance als direkt bei ad bzw bei that corp direkt zu bestellen... ist einfach zu teuer, das zeug, als das man vernünftige preise bei endverkäufern bekommt ??? zumal die ssm´s meist nur als smd-bauteile zu bekommen sind... naja, mal sehen. ich werde mich jetzt mal bei electro-music umsehen. an wievielen tempcos hättest du denn interesse? ich selbst brauche aktuell eigentlich nur 4, für zukünftige projekte ungefähr nochmal 10, also würde ich so 20-30 nehmen. vorrat schadet ja nun nichts... tobias

ja, vco´s und auch filter. 3300ppm/°C ist meist der angegebene wert, das stimmt. aber es ist schwer genug, die dinger halbwegs bezahlbar in deutschland zu bekommen, und 3500ppm hat weltronic am lager, alle anderen werte müßten extra beschafft/hergestellt werden, und das wird dann teurer... aber wenn man sich das hier mal anschaut: http://www.krlbantry.com/products/Power/sect-328.htm scheinen die tempcos einen bereich von 3200ppm bis 3500ppm abzudecken, siehe auch: http://precisionresistor.com/PT146.htm außerdem arbeiten die meisten neuen designs mit 3500ppm ptc´s. sollte also kein problem sein. aber vielleicht kann da jemand was zu sagen, der sich wirklich damit auskennt?
