  4. WOW!!! mike, that´s a real BIG offer you make here... all thumbs up ;D ;D ;D but: are you sure about it? i paid sasha directly, so it´s not my business, but you have no guarantee at all that you will get your money back (-> i don´t intend to say that jaicen ripped you guys off, not at all, cause i remember lots of his posts and contributions to quite a few communities, and think he´s a honest guy, but nobody knows what happened, so things are really unclear). just my thoughts... best wishes, tobias. ps: on the other hand: i need a xox really bad!!! and all the parts are waiting on my special parts drawer ;)
  5. maybe because this is an international communitiy? und er folgerichtig englisch als "amtssprache" gewählt hat? fragen über fragen... ;)

  8. i got some 2sa733p from segor.de, and quite a few of those are hfe 300-320...
  9. hi sasha, i still remember when i was running from store to store to find some black screws... i nearly got crazy... ;D but then i found a small backyard-business just around the corner of my house... they sell nearly any type of screw - also in black!!! so, if i can help, please pm me... best wishes, tobias

  12. hmm, as i have an unpopulated 6582 base pcb left, i might be interested in at least 12 6581r4ar. depends on the final price, of course... i´ll ask some of my buddies if they are interested, too. best wishes, tobias
  13. two pictures of how modifications were done at linn´s... :o
  14. yeah, that´s really cool! ;D they belong to a friend of ours, who originally wanted to bring us 2 linndrums, but instead he decided to bring us his linn9000´s... no joke: the left one is the one which was used for the drums in wham´s "last christmas" - that´s a info directly from roger linn, who modded the 9000 himself!!! but: the right one is defective, and the left one has also some bugs. so the plan is to get 1 fully working, and then let´s see what we can do for the other one. a plus is that we have all schematics and a full modifcation documentation, so it should be no problem to bring at least 1 of them back to life completely... i´m happy ;D
  15. we have some guests at our studio... ;D 8)
  16. btw: the an6562 costs 0,64 € at reichelt.de...
  17. @ultra in the us you can get tempco´s at precisionresistor.com. these are remakes of the classic tel labs q81. i calculated the prices for the hard to get parts from vintageplanet: it´s 17,60 € WITHOUT 3x 2SC1583 which are currently out of stock, and without 24x 2SC536, where no price is stated... the ba662a is available, but you have to ask for the price. so, compared to 53,65 € at dalbani, with all parts, it seems to be about the same...
  18. hi. i talked to a good friend of mine, who was btw involved in designing the ml, and asked him about the parts neede for the original 303. most interesting thing was that there were different versions build, with different trannies used. i wrote it down, but forgot the sheet of paper in my studio, so i can post the different versions tomorrow. in his opinion the most important parts soundwise are the jfet, the ba662 and the 560 ohm tempco. the tempco is substituted by a 1k tempco in the xox design, the jfet is there, and, well, the ba is some kind of voodoo chip. he said you won´t notice too much difference when heard alone, but in direct comparison there ARE differences. the ba6110 is noisier, and the 662 "bites" more. nest important thing is the sequencer handling... but that´s not relevant here, because the xox doesn´t clone the seq in an original way. btw, i found almost all parts needed at vintaplanet.nl... i´m going to calculate the costs for the parts from vintageplanet and post it here... best wishes, tobias
  19. well, sure you´re right, but on the other hand... what i think i´ll do is to compare both chips - a friend of mine has also a juno, and there are some ba6110 on my shelf, so it´s easy to do a direct comparison... we´ll see. best wishes, tobias.
  20. 170 euro shipping costs? :o wow, they know how to make money... and i thought dhl is expensive (17 €) but, surprise, i live in berlin, so it should be no problem to get the panel directly from schaeffer and send it to you. about the ba662a: yes, i know that it can be substituted with ba6110, but, hey, if i´m going to build it, it should be original. but if you already sourced all parts, and they are reasonable priced, i think i can invest 30 € for a ba662. vintageplanet.nl carries them. best wishes, tobias
