  1. Ok, thanks for help. I'll buy MKT caps tomorrow.
  2. I've checked - topside is same as mine, but problem is with "underside.pdf". I attach two pictures, first from Evince, second from Acrobat Reader 8. It looks like mirrored topside without holes.
  3. Hello, Have anybody got four (or more :>) 22nF Styroflex caps? I can't find them anywhere! I was in ~10 shops in Cracow, checked in e-shops where I've bought parts, searched on Allegro (polish Ebay ;)) and... found nothing. Regards, Lenwe
  4. Thanks, napierzaza, for re-posting corrected boards. But your PDFs aren't usefull in this moment, becouse it contains only big black fields... I attach ready-to-print pictures made from Your colour ones.
  5. Wops, i had same problem with board and thinked, that Linux version of Eagle had some problem with rendering it, so I have been waiting for access to some Windows machine to print it...

    Poland.

Cze?? ludu!
  7. You did that?! I was in shock after opening PSU and had problem with simple cable change! You're crazy if you taken out all resin (or whatever that hard, big, milk-coloured block inside is)! Outside looks great. Any photos of boards?
  8. Thanks for connecting scheme. I've taken a deeper look at Your board - It's really inpossible without huge amount of bridges or double-sided board. I think, that You have made great work ;) I'll use it in near future!
  9. Hi all, I've very little programing skills in languages other then PHP - touched C++ and Python - so I can't help in MC module development. But I've hope, that it's possible to mobilise some more experienced guys from this forum ;) 8x 512kilobits eeproms costs about 2x8=16 Euro (still don't know how to write Euro sign ;)) Small (64MiB) SD card costs about 3 Euro. Is there any difference? For 13 Euro it's possible to buy additional PIC to handle it...
  10. It looks great for me. Is there any way to persuade you to make version with J10? ;)
  11. This guy is collecting 8-bit computers and bought some SIDsin "ancient times", but sold only this one. :( Sorry, I've tried to change his mind. Becouse I don't know how to make PCBs, I'm trying to fit it on universal boards, and I've needed to move voltage regulators to supply. EDIT: I had feeling, that magic word "universal" will kill discusion ;)
  12. But there is some idiotic thing with premade kits: The ones from US are cheaper then ones from Europe (with delivery counted in ofcourse)... By the way - who on this forum isn't from Poland? :p
  13. Hi all! I'm going to build midibox sid with one core (but I'm waiting for PIC from Thailand...) and two SID 8580 (one cannibalised, and one... bought! I've found some non-used C64 chips in Poland ;)) powered by C64 PSU. Becouse I'll use two same sids, I'm going to use only +5 and +9 voltages. I've built supply from one of pdfs, but it delivers +14 (13,58 at mine), instead of +9. So... 1) I've changed connection from +5 to GND, but it gave about 8.5V. 2) Reconnected to +5 and added another 7809 between +14 and GND - I've still 8,7! So I ask - what's going one? Is it some problem with supply or with my (very cheap!) multimeter?
  14. This is scheme of midi interface, with I use. I don't know where is it from, but midi-in works well.
  15. But it's most usefull for new users ;) Misstake in translating, sorry ;) I'm using DIY interface, connected to gameport, but the problem was at CORE module side.
  16. Thank You! I've connected 470 Ohms in serial with pull-up resistor making it's resistance smaller. Everything works fine! 20. I've checked all resistors. One, on MIDI IN optocoupler had 2k200, not 1k200. Second one, at 1'st PIC pin was connected wrong. But... I use power supply from C64 with voltage regulator, like in mbhp_8xsid_c64_psu_optimized. I've built circut on veroboards, so it's possible that i've made mistake somewhere. Have anybody got any idea about what probably cause it?
  21. I've same problem with my core. When only bootloader is programed, it sends SysEx starting at F0 00 00 7E with random ending in every 20ms. On MIOS it sends some idiotic messages and won't load any hex by midi at both. Can you tell me, where You have made mistake in resistance? I think, that I've same.
  22. Sorry for small offtopic, but if anyone have some time... I've translated wikipedia article about POKEY from Polish to English, but i'm sure, that it's full of mistakes, so can someone take a look on it?
