Logo Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 I'm not sure if this the correct forum area to post this, but I have finally finished my first MIDIBox64 based project I started in 8/07 (I'm slow/lazy :) ). I had many false starts and headaches making it, but it was entirely worth it. I plan on using it for Live and Traktor DJ sets, as well as simple Max/Msp sequencer patches. Overall it cost about $400 USD (but would of been much less if I didn't splurge on nice faders and make a bunch of incorrect orders). It consists of 1 Core, 2 DIN, 1 DOUT, 1 AIN.Info that might be of help to others:-Bourns makes a very nice DJ Style fader that you can order in the US from Mouser (though only in 60mm length) http://mouser.com/search/ProductDetail.aspx?qs=b8viKDOLiXaWB8SJ8GW14g%3d%3d -Wilba's JB Weld trick for panel mounting pcbs works very well.-When ordering parts always order enough! I say this after 4 orders to Mouser and about 3 to SmashTV. Thanks to TK and the entire community. This is a truly amazing slice of the internet... Echopraxia Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Gotta love those arcade controls. ;)Where do you get those little plastic molded white things that hold the pcb at its four corners? What are they called?

They are adhesive plastic pcb posts, they're pretty sturdy and save a lot of time. I highly recommend them. I found them at Mouser http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=561-LAD250virtualkey56100000virtualkey561-LAD250

nILS Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Pretty! Don't let Smash see that or he'll send his army of frogger machines to come and take it away ;D
