snykehd Posted June 29, 2008 Report Posted June 29, 2008 the last time I sent out MFs from germany, it took about 2 months to canadaand aprox. 4 months to australia.I recommend another shipping method than "Päckchen Weltweit" which cost around 15 Euros.Maybe Airmail is better although it might cost a littlemore.
sonicwarrior Posted June 29, 2008 Author Report Posted June 29, 2008 I think I can get this in an envelope which should be 8 Euro at maximum (outside EU) + the costs of the envelope (small envelope is 0,25 Euro, a big one 0,50 Euro).+ 2,05 Euro if tracking is wanted + 1 Euro for insurance up to 100 Euro (2 Euro for 100-200 Euro and so on).
diablojoy Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 2nd place is cool i can wait awhile yet. still working on seq and still only in planning stage of modular synth thanks.
Peake Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 Please put me on the waiting list as well, thank you.
NV Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 If you decide to organize a second batch in the future I would certainly be interested in participating. Hopefully there will eventually be enough interest to do so.
xarolium Posted August 5, 2008 Report Posted August 5, 2008 i would like to know when you 'll star the orderbecause i was showing on the sequencer.de forum but i don't understand german very wellhope this project is still available
sonicwarrior Posted August 5, 2008 Author Report Posted August 5, 2008 It is delayed because I currently don't have the time and the money for it.I can't name a starting date but surely not this month.
madox Posted August 5, 2008 Report Posted August 5, 2008 It is delayed because I currently don't have the time and the money for it.I can't name a starting date but surely not this month.I can definitely understand the time factor. I think anyone who organises these things for the community is already being very generous with time and effort. I hope you're not putting yourself out, financially, to help the rest of us with our hobbies though. I for one wouldn't mind paying in advance, if that is the case. Otherwise just take your time, I suppose.Cheers dude.-madoxedit: I know other people do put their own money up front for group purchasing etc, which is certainly appreciated too, but perhaps it is not always necessary for it to be done this way?
Phattline Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 This order is closed? "0 left"or can I place a order for some sets? If yes, 4 sets for me ;)
sonicwarrior Posted September 10, 2008 Author Report Posted September 10, 2008 This order is closed? "0 left"or can I place a order for some sets? If yes, 4 sets for me ;)This is closed, but nothing happened by now and there is a waiting list.It will soon be started and maybe someone jumps off because of the long delay. We'll see. There is a change in the process: I will only order PICs if EVERY participant wants them because I don't want to take the risk that I'll stay down with these and I don't have the money to pay for leftovers. So if someone definately is not wanting PICs either another one needs to order that much more or no one will get PICs with this order.Would be a shame because the PICs were basically the reason for the big delay.
sonicwarrior Posted September 12, 2008 Author Report Posted September 12, 2008 I have dropped the first round mail.If someone on the list didn't get it, please let me know.
sonicwarrior Posted September 17, 2008 Author Report Posted September 17, 2008 I still need feedback from:Doug WellingtonJaicensnykehd

sonicwarrior Posted October 16, 2008 Author Report Posted October 16, 2008 Paypal is currently a problem as I've got too much money (over 1000 Euro) this year via Paypal. They wrote something about a money laundering law and now my account is somehow closed. It seems it was not that a good idea to include the chips in this groupbuy. :(

I have gone through all the verification its and pieces though... There's one for your phone number where they ring you and one for your bank account where they pay small amounts in and you have to tell them how much it is... Have you done all ths? Paypal suppost is useless,I hope it worksout for you.
sonicwarrior Posted October 16, 2008 Author Report Posted October 16, 2008 Well, not everything what they want from me seems to make sense. In my eyes they want too much private information and I don't trust eBay/Paypal in that.

In my eyes they want too much private information and I don't trust eBay/Paypal in that.I suppose so. I can see why they want verification on things though, the service could be abused very easily.
stryd_one Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 I don't trust eBay/PaypalExplains why they don't trust you then ;)
sonicwarrior Posted October 20, 2008 Author Report Posted October 20, 2008 Still waiting for money from 7 persons. It seems I can still use my paypal account. It's all a bit confusing so I writeit in german:Die wollen das ich meinen Account hochstufe und damit einen gewerblichenAccount habe. Dazu wollen die meine Steuernummer und so Krams.Hab ich aber alles nicht.
snykehd Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 how hard is it to trust you and transfer the money the easy way from bank to bank ?In that way you can get your money back within 6 weeks, too.Paypal just costs fees and takes more time -.-
sonicwarrior Posted October 21, 2008 Author Report Posted October 21, 2008 Bank transfer is AFAIK only worth inside the EU else the fees are higherthan the paypal fees.
