nILS Posted August 31, 2008 Report Share Posted August 31, 2008 the mA is a max rating. That means your PSU can supply *up to* 600 milli Amperes, while a 500mA supply can only give you 500mA. So as long as your box doesn't need more than 500mA you can use either one.
