Fixing LEDs with hot glue possible? tried that?

has anyone fixed LEDs (modulation matrix) on the front panel using HOT GLUE?

i'd like to do so but i wonder whether the heat could damage the LED.

so anybody tried this before?

No, it will do no harm to the LED

Would it be hard to replace an LED using this method? Has anyone ever had LED's go "bad" on them?

LEDs do go bad on a regular basis. Regular being every 10 or so years. And yes, replacing them is doable. The hot glue never gets really hard and you can always just heat it up and it'll get soft again anyways.

I'm pretty sure and exacto knife and soldering iron are the only 2 tools needed to replace a glued-in LED.
