"Frustrating" doesn't begin to describe this one.

And I'm based in London, UK so ordering another bag seems ridiculous...

I'm only after 12 yellow and 12 green.  I figure if I find the right spec I could just pick some up at maplin.

So close to finishing as well.  Gutted...

Wilba is kinda hard to get drunk. I tried it with german beer (obviously not hard enough) .

I can see why now!

Wilbz for all the work you put in you should have accepted it,

i was always planning on donating something all along and this just gave me an excuse to do it!

Ill prolly just stick it in webhosting or development the next time.

So...does anyone know the specs? I need to order some LEDs, and all the ones on ebay seem to be SUEPR BRIGHT OMG. What mcd rating should I look for?

Do Smash TV's resistors require resistors on the mb-6582 CS?

Or is the brightness from them just right?

EDIT: I meant LED's LOL

No idea. I'm just now ordering parts for the control surface.

I don't know SmashTV's exact parts, but these are good LEDs for sammichSID etc.

"LED Standard Green Diffused 570nm 20mcd" Mouser: 638-204GD

"LED Standard Hi-Eff Red Diffused 625nm 12.6mcd" Mouser: 638-204ID

Don't be put off by the low mcd rating. These things glow nicely even in a matrix, using standard 220 ohm resistors, they have good diffusion and have the common package like what most 3mm LEDs look like... i.e. just like SmashTV's LEDs.

I have used 1K before with the red ones (TK's MB-6582) but you could use 220 ohm, it will not be too bright. Definitely use 220 ohm for SmashTV's green and yellow LEDs.
