4 x IIC PCB for SEQ

Still relevant I feel. Mostly for the BLM, but also for older Cores, to gain 4 MIDI outs or if you don't need/want the MIDI ins.

 

 

How 'relevant' is the quad IIC at this point in time? I thought it was pretty much replaced by the Midi IO module.

Another reason that it's still relevant is that it provides 5v midi outs where as the MIDI I/O module has 3.3v midi outs.

I found some gear won't play nice with a 3.3v midi signal.

I've bought these connectors from this seller before and the fit the 4 x IIC PCB perfectly.

Heh, again it's an 8-pin connector! 

This is the one I've bought for my cable:

Mouser: 523-T3504-001

It's very nice, but a bit pricey. And with the above mentioned DIN-8  ;) socket, you have to remove the screw collar to get it to mate properly :roll:
