jensah
I've started to build a FM module, but i got smd tl074 and a "standard 2 pin" 14.318Mhz crystal.Have anyone made a circuitboard for thoose components? And is it possible to use wall-wharts instead to make the +-12v (or prefferably lower). doc
I've started to build a FM module, but i got smd tl074 and a "standard 2 pin" 14.318Mhz crystal.Have anyone made a circuitboard for thoose components? The SMD tl074 would work, but you have to make yourself a pcb for it, I think. For the crystal I am not so sure. There are some differences between the crystal-types, so I'm not sure, If yours will work.In theory you could use two (DC-) wallwarts to get +/-12V. Not a recommend solution, but it would work.greetsDoc
aeiou42
This page here describes how to build a +/- power supply from a AC-AC wallwart.http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-12968.htmlI think this is the kind of wallwart he recommends to use.http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&productId=100061&pa=100061PSWould someone else like to double check this and make sure it would work? jensah
Yeah, the AC adapter solution seems to be working. And as far as i've read the crystal wont work. And my question was if someone had made a SMD tl074 PCB allready or have the brd file so it's possible to change package. napierzaza
Maybe you can just figure out adaptors ? Little PCBs that convert the SMD to DIP
