thank you guys this is awesome. a bit hard to grasp from the manual, but its now very clear. we could gain a few kb of memory getting rid of those dummy options?

is it with Nth1 and Nth2?

I've tried the prob function creating a new layer, and if i put 50%, it doesnt play one out of 2, it seems to be random, perhaps equalling 50%, but if i want to play one out of 2, how can i do it? also can you control whether it will play on the first round or second round? thanks

Hi TK, I've finally understood how to create those directories via MIOS filebrowser [facepalm]. now it says no subdirectories found on sysex directory,,, I wanted to use sysex to backup my seqv4, is that how to do it or is there another way?

just saw that there is a prob function in track event/layers.... is that the same? does it work per step or per pattern?

just saw the new features of the elektron sequencers, and there is a clever trig probability for setting up a step to play everytime (100%), one out of two time (50%), out of three,four etc... is there something similar in SeqV4? if not, would be great to have!

they were wiping. and now i don't know what i've done but its ok (changed some routings, i think my master keys/synth was being triggered by another keyboard and may have caused the SEQ to record some blanks??) at the same time, i couldn't toggle the chords on/off by pressing on the step button. now its ok again, but i don't know what changed. I was trying to solve my other issue which was chords entry: i was entering track type chord and then jam live recording chord: that was a mess. i understand now that you need to enter track type note and jam live recording chord to live record polyphonically. for entering manually the track type predefined chords A->p is there a keyboard map somewhere? that would be one fingered chords. thnks

is there a setting somewhere to adjust the live recording (jam) so it doesn't wipe out whats been recorded on the next round of the sequence? or do we need to press something at the end of the sequence to toggle recording off? can it be predefined like track one records for 1 bar then plays, track 2 is 4 bars....etc thanks

is there a latest release that keeps the undo function?

can someone explain me a bit better than the manual what the QuickSel Loops are in the LENGHT MENU? (upper/ lower row), and also in the loop setting on that page 1-256 is only for the loop start, is there a way to set the loop end? thanks

some of my midi router changes don't stay next time i power up the Seq. Is there a way to save the routings properly? Is it per session or can it be a general setting save? thanks dave

i get that quite regularly since i upgraded to .088, it goes away with a reboot. any idea? anyone else?

oops found how to create a preset (in Menu->Event) and it created a directory. all good. Still don't know how to create a midi and a sysex one though.

Also Rowan pointed out that I should have a preset directory on the SD. I have MBSEQ_GC.V4 MBSEQ_HW.V4 SESSIONS can i just create preset/midi/sysex directories from the computer or is the MBSEQ supoosed to write those in? thanks

Thanks Rowan. Trying to understand how to send that preset into the SEQ. when i try to import (its a midi file right?) i don't have a midi file directory on my SD card (neither Sysex) doing some research on that and will report re sequencing the MD.

when trying to import a midi file, it says Midi directory not found on SD card, same on the Sysex page (which is not referenced in the manual but has a dedicated button) it says sysex directory not found. how can i create those? thanks

just starting on the SEQV4 and trying to sequence my MD from it, I can't get any sound yet neither in normal note sequence or drum sequence when i go into MD map editor, it responds to the MBSEQ (BD maps to C2 instead of C1 but i guess they are just an octave apart in their midi setup) it must be a setup problem, any thoughts? thanks

I didn't realize you couldnt do that in other circumstances. its not a biggy. just annoying when you working down low. cheers

yes it is what i meant, and it can be positive or negative. excellent! for the scrolling down limit, it would be nice to be able to disable it. you can always make the step silent again by clicking the step button and double clicking to bring back C3. thanks Thorsten &co for the awesome work in what it seems many years of development and hard work. i'm just jumping on the boat now and looking fwd to this journey ;)

Hi everyone. Just discovering my new SEQV4 and i will slowly read everything about it but 2 things that wanted to ask first: -Scrolling down to Note c-2 brings a blank line and then back up to C3. Is there a way to avoid that and go back up from c-2? -Is there a way to make microtiming adjustments of the steps like on new Elektron sequencers. That is a VERY nice feature. thanks
