Hello, Maxibrief sounds OK to me. I live in Germany, thus for me it will be a national delivery. I'd prefer 'national standard with insurance'. The worth of my package (8 SIDs) is about 70€, providing a $ to € ratio of 1.4., if I'm not mistaken. So it's once the insurance per 100€. In conclusion, the fee shout be 2,20€ for 'national standard' plus 1,00€ for the insurance wich makes a total 3,30€ for the shipping. Any more questions? ;) regards, Tom

No, I don't think so; that's only part of it. I think the price is most important. You will find a distributor for nearly anything somwhere in the world, if price it not your (main) concern. And, if I don't know the manufacturer (which I don't, that's why I asked ;) ) I can't tell if they do small orders or not.

Hi, reading the new C't journal (4/2006) I found the new hadware project, which is mainly a LCD connected to USB to display certain data, such as Motherboard temperatures or even Winamp mp3 title information etc. The main part is a IOWarrior chip that both handles USB, display and even an infrared sensor. Thing is, that chip needs one second to fully redraw the (128x64) LCD display, which is a very long time to my mind (it's 2006, not 1986 ;) ). Not that I really need it to be faster, but I believe this can be done better. So my question is: how long would your driver take to completely redraw a 128x64 display, Thorsten? thank you, regards, SB

Hi, i found this Maxim chip MAX4562, which is a multiple analog switch with an i2c control. It is made for applications like yours and you could save the DOUT and the relais control using them. Datasheet:Â Â http://pdfserv.maxim-ic.com/en/ds/MAX4562-MAX4563.pdf The drawbacks are that I can't find a dealer for it (thoug you could order samples...) and that it only comes in a QSOP (SMD) package. regards, tom
