  1. Hmm, the only problem is that Heidenreich page says H1 needs to be 45.0mm at least. Assuming TK's box H1 was 45mm I'd say 50mm would be a safe bet. I'm also not sure till where is H measured. Anyway, we're getting closer with the reverse-engineering :-) One more remark - side panels are 3mm thick but with 1.5mm cutout. Since B includes the side panel thickness the 3mm (2* 1.5mm) should be added to front panel width to make B=437.5mm. And, that's 17.22", not 17.5", btw :-) There is no need to and you can't do that anyway because the panel will be too small after increasing T.
  2. Ah, got it, I missed the point (as it usually happens with me, sorry about that)
  3. Same goes for the individual pictures as accessed via user's profile's gallery. And same Happy New Year to all folks!
  4. As for the preview I just found that well-hidden feature, yes  As for the replies, that's why first I enter some dummy characters after the quote before doing any formatting changes not to lose the cursor... Okay, enough complaints, back to business
  5. Shuriken, if you're referring to http://www.sequencer.de/synthesizer article the pictures do tell that he used STM32 core, not LPC, as can also be seen from answering the questions throughout the article. Some time ago I tried to make the measurements to accommodate LPC core in the box but never finished that (I still have the A3 paper with http://www.heidenreich.de/english/products/group_06/variant_b/skizze_pultgroessen_variant_b.pdf printed in my laptop bag). Making the front slightly taller will probably cause the frontpanel height to change since it's angled, maybe by a fraction but maybe enough already for the panel not to fit (and Heidenreich doesn't use the panel size a manufacturing parameter, alas). So you would need to lift both H as well as H1. The problem (for me, at least) was that http://www.ucapps.de/midibox_seq/mbseq_case_measures.pdf shows all the dimensions (e.g. 35,78mm from bottom to the front-side top screw but this doesn't seem to be the H1 dimension (that seems to be till the front hinge top if I can say from the enclosure sketch). If I got it right you can't re-create the order based on the sheet - you're still missing the H1, the other (H, B, T) seem to be there assuming the 'B' doesn't include the side panel thickness. But maybe TK can reveal the number and we could simply add 5mm to both H1 and H and have the job done... My two cents, if anyone can prove me wrong I'd be happy to hear that my concerns are not really concerns and would be first one to get the case (two, actually) P.S. Am I the only one missing 'preview before posting' in the upgraded forum engine and the only one missing lack of GUI when quoting? Hope this helps, freddy
  6. Guys, thanks for your interest but, alas, no orders were cancelled and no MB6582 spares are left  I'm not sure if there would be enough interest to place another another Schaeffer order (i.e. 10 minimum for the better price) but I'm considering ordering a panel for the 16x4 BLM at the moment. When I'm that far and have the design finalized I might throw few MB6582 windows to the order, I'll definitely let you know if that's the case (and you'll be 2nd and 3rd on the back order list just following MOONRAKER). I'll let you know, cheers, Adrien
  7. Exactly, latigid on :-) Thanks for letting me know, glad the windows were received with no issues at both (at all, actually) destinations!
  8. Anytime (well), thanks for letting me know!
  9. Ingo, I'm afraid you missed a whole rest of the thread - both guys responded, paid, had their packages sent and received them. All have left now is 4x MBSEQ and 1x MBFM window just like stated in the above message :hmm: I doubt there will be any next MB6582 window batch, I received no requests apart from yours :hmm: Hope this clarifies it, Adrien
  10. Come on, guys, let the guy just try to sell the chips without making the comments  I do agree that they're overpriced but if someone pays for it just let him breath. Maybe he'll drop the prices in a month or two if he's unable to sell the load - it seems that few of the chips (well, one) were sold on eBay already so all we can do is wish him good luck and hope for price drop!
  11. A local company in my country also sells some similiar ones: http://www.sos.sk/?str=371&artnum=70943&name=alps-dk-45-114-a-6 - it seems that it's Albs DK 45-114 (though it's called 'Alps' instead of 'Albs'), specs can be found at http://www.albs.de/img/dk45-114.jpg. It's not the D-shaft shape but since there is no big pressure on the data wheel it's okay (I'm using these knobs). The only disadvantage is that ít's not as ergonomic as DK 38-144. The price is 2.28€ pp, price drops with higher quantities. I can arrange a mass sell if there is interest. Edit: these are the same as gslug has posted above, missed the exact type while reading, sorry for duplicating. Hth, freddy
  12. BTW, I still have 4x MBSEQ (11,50€ each) and 1x MBFM window (12,50€), with 1,45€ shipping to Germany or 3,45€ to elsewhere. The price increased a bit since I didn't realize I need to pay Paypal fees, which caused loss of some ~30€ :ermm: My bad...
  13. Yep, be careful not to break any of the JB-Welded spacers (like I did)! Thanks for letting me know, guys, you're most welcome!
  14. You're welcome, thanks for the info!
  15. For me, 2x case for 17" LPC17, too. According to TK the LPC17 fit is just a cosmetic issue (LCD connector strain relief doesn't fit), if that's really the case I don't really mind that. It would also be possible to re-take all the measuring and make the front and back panel slightly higher (3-5mm), but...
  16. Hi, Reviving an old thread, did you ever find a need for multiple FMs? And did you solve it either via J8/J9 switching or similiar way MBSID works (with software re-design)? I'm not saying I'll ever need more than one FM but the 2U box just seems sooo empty with only a single core/fm. Thanks, freddy
  17. Thanks for notice guys, glad you enjoyed it!
  18. Welcome, guys, glad you enjoyed the service  Too bad I have to wait till weekend to make use of my LCD windows :ahappy:
  19. Most welcome, guys, I'm glad it worked and made your day
  20. Update: Packages to monokinetic and kHz-tone sent out this morning, still missing shipping address from skunks (but we've already had a PM exchange yesterday so I hope to finish the shipment by today).
  21. Guys, first 13 packages were sent to: rosch, NorthernLightX, Jojjelito, Lamouette, Dnode, Gtxdude, Arkay, Shuriken, Verpeiler, orange_hand, gslug, toadstool, latigid on, I certanly hope I didn't mess the shipments  Sorry about kHz-tone, I read the PM just after I sent the packages, so you'll be in the next batch (I guess tomorrow morning). The packages were thicker (and bigger) than expected because of the cardboard I put in in order not to bend so easily, so the shipping is 1.45E within Germany and 3.45E abroad (no handling ), I hope this is okay. I've skipped the shipping from Schaeffer to me, that was a constant and since I was getting panels (and LCD windows) myself there is no need to pass the burden to you. I'll reply to your PMs regarding total or send a direct Paypal request if you sent me your Paypal address. Still no reply received from Monokinetic and skunks. Since up till now no end-date for PMs was set let's make it a week from now, i.e. PMs received on 30/10 (and onwards) will you put to the end of the waiting queue just following MOONRAKER: MBSEQ MB6582 MBFM MOONRAKER - 1 -
  22. Sorry, Ingo, it doesn't - I just ran out of MB6582 LCD windows :ermm: but you're the next one in the waiting queue if someone doesn't reply with the address - still missing some PMs. Maybe a good start for another mass-order? More or less, just kidding for now, currently I'm busy enveloping the windows, I'll send them tomorrow and wait for a feedback before starting another one (if at all). Sorry if it won't work, Adrien
  23. Sure there is - last one gone! 24. Grr, first you were
  25. If those are the same buttons as used for Wilba's MBSEQ I have tons of spares (not used for my MBSEQ). If you agree I can simply add them to the LCD window shipment I'll be sending next week. Deal?
