I am still waiting for my Motorfaders/and some feedback from doug While i´m waiting a question: I rebuilt the motorfader in Autocad, and then make a Eagle library of it, I am not sure about the pinning of Thing --- is the magenta Signal path right in following picture?: Here is the Orginal Datasheet: DATASHEET And here are the CAD Files: DWG DXF Now I want to import that, and make a library in Eagle... but before I want to go sure, that the pinning is correct - is it? It it is then this should be the Eagle Library LBR

you could make 2Boards... the buttom board - with the encoder on it and its Shiftregisters and resistors... and a top board with the Leds on it and its Shiftregisters and Resistors...---and then drill a hole in the LED boards, for the Encoder shaft... this make the DIY Board-design (if single sided is the only way...) and so on much easier... The BCRs are SMD LEDs with some transparent Plastik-shafts on it... plastic waste... when you use 1mm standard LEDs and drill holes for that in your Front-Panel - Then this looks the same way...

:D you may need a tiny tiny tiny magnet... because, you have to put many of this tiny tiny magnets on a tiny tiny disc...and because you need a better resolution then, one step by one turn :P or you could take a magnet disc, and the take magnetic shielding stuff (What ever this is) that is easy to drill with a cnc, and then drill isolation areas in the stuff........ it then may look like a disc from a optical encoder.... then you put the shield-disc on the magnet-disc, and so on......... oh man too komplex...

the mainly question is where to get the magnet for that... and whats the priceing for that....5$ are a bit to much for peace of silicium :o , if this would be cheaper then a mechanical encoder ;) - i would start to thinking of cnc designes for axis, shafts and so on... but with 5$ i dont start to think about that...

I am from austria, and I want some... but bevore- to be sure the facts?: one square: 1,58cm x 1,58cm 8x8 buttons: 16,82cm x 19,5cm 19" frontplate space is 43cm 43/16,82= 2,55 - too bad only 16 steps... ---So I only have to etch my PCB, and this buttons work on the blank cu (copper, kupfer) PCB? They have all much synth and melody in it... however they are made to go trippy or go dance or all together, or just simple to drive car and use the subwoofer... ajo das ETH Interface - könnt ja auch als Midi interface heralten? Welche Latenzen gibts bei "midi over lan"?

ok ob die Treiber bei Vista funken is erstmal egal - ich werds drauf an kommen lassen :) Das es als midiinterface wirken kann, hab ich auch schon rausgefunden ;) nur ne Frage - Gibts erfahrungen mit Latenzzeiten in Millisekunden & Jitter? - - ich will jetzt nix bauen und am schluss hab ich schlechtere zeiten als über usb oder firewire :o

Hallo, hab eben ein 64bit OS installiert, jetzt gibts für ein paar Midi-Controller hersteller keine USB-Treiber (schande), Ich benutz ableton live, dazu aber auch hardwaresequencer,, die beiden zu verheiraten war mit usb wegen jitter und latenzen ein horror, über die serielle solls weniger jitter und latenzen als über usb geben. (es kann ja fast nur besser werden >:( ) Nun gut was brauch ich: 1x Midi in 1x Midiout - so das ich meine Controller -total recall -betreiben kann, auf midiin kommen CCs der Midibox und aufn midiout will ich eine midiclock, Noten und CCs (von ableton) schicken. Nun jetzt gibts das LTC Modul in verbindung mit an Core modul (weil ohne PIC geht nicht?). Nun die Frage: Nehm ich da vom Core den Midinput (weil aufn LTC gibts ja nur out und thru)? Welche Software muss ich aufn Pic spielen damit das ganze als Midiinterface fungiert? (oder geht das mit jeder und ich muss es nur in der jeweiligen Aplikation aktivieren - mdifilter app z.B.?) Wie schauts mit den Latenzen aus, weil wie ich das seh, werden ihrgendwie die baudraten durch den max232 verändert und in den pic gejagt, - gibts vermutlich oarge latenzn? (milliskeunden? = zuviel bei zusammenspiel von DAWsequencer und externen equipment...) Werden die Latenzen (oder schlimmer Jitter) kleiner wenn mans am STM32 board anhängt- ist das möglich? oder ist ETH so und so die gscheidere Lösung wenns ums Jitter und Latenzen geht, ich mein das RS232 protokoll is ja sehr brauchbar was das angeht, nur die Wandlung im PIC? ganz ehrlich ich kenn mich programmiertechnisch allzu aus, -ja ok ich kann eine SID app aufmachen und das so konfigurieren - das zu der Hardware passt- is ja gottseidank deppensicher gemacht :) -- deshalb Frage ich mal in die Runde, im Netz gibts ja einige RS232-Midi Adapter, nur halt mit fehlenden Treibern für Audioanwendungen, und wenns so Converter gibt dann oft viel zu teuer und aufwendig (damits z.B. aus so yamaha standart treibern funkt) Help.

Oben ist ne Rolle Unten ist ne Rolle Dazwischen ist der Gummi gespannt. Mann muss den Gummi sowieso ihrgendwie nachstellen können, also auf der unterseite zwischen Oberer und Unterer Rolle, eine Kleine achse mit kleinen Zahnrad dazwischen gespannt, so wie beim Fahrad der Kettenspanner... Je kleiner das Zahnrad, desto mehr umdreheungn hat die Achse....auf diese Achse dieses optische Rad drauf- und fertisch. ;)
