    Farnell has a special service where you can inquire to order a non listed item. So did i with the linear K Fader. They have a min. of 150 Euro,

    Since you ignored my first post... I'm just trying to avoid you spending money for nothing.  ;)

    ... it says "Gehäusetyp: linear" which means "linear fader" but the taper is 10k LOG

    I don't know what "arm/fader position" mean.

    ... just guessing: I think these are those Mackie shift-functions, where "arm" means "arm/write automation" and "fader position" means "snapshot to zero-/unity gain-position" of the fader.

    ... don't hope too much. - This is the awful downside of free enterprise. Some decades ago it was Japan now it's China and Korea.

    You for shure are right and this situation makes me sick. But what do you want? If you want to be competitive in the marked, you have to buy the ICs and other components there, because your competitor will do it and he will beat the price down.

    The only way to do a tiny action against this is (that's what I do), not to buy those "over cheaped" end products like whole HiFi setups for $100, screwdrivers for $1 and, and, and... But the action is tiny, because your neighbor will buy the stuff for a couple of bucks and keeps the business running.

    Ich werd morgen mal nach Essen in eine große Buchhandlung fahren.

    Wenn Du unbedingt ein Buch haben willst... in der guten alten Brockenstube (so heisst das jedenfalls in der Schweiz... weisst Du, die Gebrauchtwaren-Schuppen von der Heilsarmee), gibt's tonnenweise Elektronik Bücher.

    my intention was to imply that these corporations use cheap labour in china, hence criticising the company rather than the chinese. apologies to all offended.

    Where else? ... Might be the reason that you can buy them for a few dollars  ;) I think all displays are made in "cheap" china

    2. Ich bin sowieso stark dafür, dass wir hier im "Deutsch"-Forum einen eigenen PIC-Brenn Thread starten.

    Ich weis nicht genau, wie diese Duo Led's aufgebaut sind und will nicht meine Led's zerstören,

    Oder ist es egal ?

    ... das sind einfach 2 Dioden in einem LED-"Gehäuse". Diese LED's, von welchen Du sprichst, haben eine "common Cathode", was heisst, dass die minus pole der beiden Dioden intern (in der LED) zusammen gehängt sind. Du kannst also ganz einfach, wenn Du SmashTV's oder Mike's Bausätze verwendest, die mitgelieferten 220Ohm Widerstände verwenden und je einen Out-pin des DOUT-Boards auf jeweils eine Anode hängen und die eine (gemeinsame) Kathode zurück auf "Vs" des DOUT-Boards.

    ... I think I know what you want: Is it for triangle shaped LEDs?

    The problem is, that you wandt sharp edges but this is not possible, since you always have the diameter of the grinding tool.

    Triangle with sharp corners have to be punched or Laser-Cutted.

    Ich habe irgendwie riesige start problemme...

    Habe mir alles einfacher vorgestellt.

    ... wenn Du nicht ein geübter Elektronik Crack bist, musst Du Dich länger mit den Forumseinträgen rumschlagen, dann wird mit der Zeit manches viel klarer.

    Wenn Du aber per sofort, ohne die nötige Erfahrung, einen Controller bauen willst,dann baust Du am besten TK's Controller 1:1 nach, bestellst die selben Teile usw.

    Wenn Du jetzt einfach Teile drauflos kaufst, kannst Du viel Geld in den Sand setzen.

    Wie sind die Panasonic Motorfader im vergleich zur ALPS (außer das die Panasonic MF nicht berührungsempfindlich sind)?

    Wäre es technisch machbar aus dem MF wie dem Panasonic, einen berührungsempfindlichen durch einen kleinen Sensor etc. zu realisieren?

    ... suche im Forum danach, dies war mal ein Thema. Ich glaube aber, dass es niemand realisiert hat.

    Wäre es möglich ein Meterbridge zu bauen, welcher mit dem Mixer von Cubase kommuniziert?
