I get a notification you replied but as you probably realized you didn`t said what people want to know you just deleted the post and turned around. Unbelievable. You are still able to surprise me. Let`s see how low can you go... I`ll wait 1 more day. If I don`t receive the money this batch has failed and I`m out of it. There is really no point waiting for some more. Life`s too short. You are still coming an going and people are still waiting like a sheeps. Somebody have to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I hope you`ll get what you deserves.

That is great. Maybe not for all analog lovers but doesn`t matter. ;D It was very funny to read the news from the creator`s website...

If so, we will use only your service for future bulk orders. ;D -
Not true. Jaicen said he will use western union. As far as I know money could be available to me next minute, but seams it will still take as long as bringing it to me on horse back, OK maybe donkey`s back :-\ Seams he still don`t giva a fuck to improve his bad reputation here. Most of us have full time jobs and some of us need to work some extra hours every day just to afford to buy few parts and have this hobby, so I won`t accept any "no time" shit after weeks of waiting and complete ignorance from your side. Not to say x0x batch is announced last summer. Wilba is spending his lunch brakes regularly at post office just to send us the parcels as soon as possible and I do that often too. So Jaicen, show some minimum respect and transfer fucking money people sent you long time ago. I couldn`t imagine how ignorant and selfish people could be, especially the ones that acts friendly. ??? I didn`t want to comment nor talk about anything here and wanted to forget about all and continue further as I thought this shit is finally over, but now when I see there is no moving forward I`m fucking mad, and I don`t hold up my thoughts. >:( >:( >:(

AllElectronics: Knobs, Keypads, and plenty more [US]

They feels great too! Best tactile button I`ve tried. -
Ultra, you don`t need to see Lars detail zoom to know the quality you can have using screen printing. You can have very small details using screens with greater "resolution" - density. Screen with density 120 will give you very nice small text. But some below 100 will give you very good results to. Screen printing can be very useful for DIYers but as Lars said, if you just want to use it for few panels for your projects, it probably don`t wort investing the money. Screen printing makes sense if you are going at least some kind of series as it takes some effort to prepare the process. Doing it all for just 1 print makes not much sense. Sure, if you already have everything laying around as Lars, and using screen printing for various different things, situation is bit different. I would still advise you to use laser engraving for panel prototypes.

That`s a long post. :) You got me very interested in making that 909 kick. I didn`t know there is just 909 kick design out there. Are there any rare components used in circuit. Any advice regards making 909 kick is appreciated. ;) Thanks for the info.

NP... P301 3.85mm P401 3.85mm Albs "Waldorf" 5.89mm

Mike, this is really nice offer for help. Don`t know what to say. I do appreciate it very much, but I would feel really bad if you end up with short sleeves if you couldn`t get the money from jaicen at the end. Maybe good idea for your protection would be that I hold those PCBs you payed for others until you get the money. In worse case scenario you could end up with 8 PCBs you could offer to the people interested in building x0x. I could start batch order immediately and ship the PCBs to all the people that send the money to me. That would be fair to them and also to you Mike.

Neubla, thanks alot for the photos. That side by side comparison with Albs is great. I noticed degradation of Albs knobs quality (waldorf model), and even they have best pointer-less knobs for SEQ that was awailable they never was soft-touch and not sure why they called it like that. All other soft-touch knobs that I`ve touched really was soft. That P301 looks very good too, and if there was an possibility to get it with P401 in smaller quantities than multiplies of 1000 I bet people would be interested. Thank you again for your efforts.

and what about some pictures?

SoundWell rotary encoders (like ALPS STEC16B, "Voti" encoders)
Sasha replied to Wilba's topic in Bulk Orders
Jimp, did you took off the spring completely or you just flattened the "teeth" I`ve removed the detend spring completely and noticed the encoder is little bit bouncing compared to unmodified encoders. Maybe it would be more stable if the teeth is just flattened with the pliers, but than rotation is not so smooth. -
No, Jaicen didn`t send me the money so I advise you to proceed as you feel. I wan`t be advise you with "pessimistic comments" as Screaming_Rabbit said here http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php?topic=9531.msg68609#msg68609 Suit yourself. I`m sick of it all, and most of other people lose their patience too. Thay payed for their PCBs directly to me looong time ago and still didn`t get what they payed for! They have right to be mad, and so do I. Some of the forum members really lack responsibility, and I don`t mean jaicen. We still don`t know what happened to him so I want blame him just like that.

But, most people does. ::)

I know, but I thought, as wilba is doing that OPL batch, he gave us motivation to design our FM panels. Desoldering OPL chips is probably the main reason why there is so little MBFM synths around compared to MBSID, especially after wilba`s all in one PCB.

Thank you Logo, and welcome aboard. That Bourns looks very sturdy, and the price is nice. As they are more than 40mm deep they eat alot of space/hight of controller, but for good pots it`s worth it. One is sure, they dont wobble. :) I`m still searching for faders for my ableton controller.

I think Re`an can`t allow themself to have bad batches, and especially to send bad samples to potential buyers. I guess that knob is just hard touch type. They usually felt and look cheaper than soft variant. Awaiting for more info/pix and hope we can get those nice touchy ones. ;)
-
Cool. Looking good. Quite few people is playing with FM design. Seams Wilba is responsible for that. :)
-
I can do it once I get back from work. I cannot install FPD at work.

Hey polosid, I think this your idea have great potential. Nokia LCD could be great way to go, but LED matrix would be nice too. It wont be very cheap to build it with GLCDs but I think it would worth it. mmmm.. something like this ultra expensive buttons PS. If you need some laser cutting for the prototype I have inexpensive laser-guy at hand. ;)
