  3. more than a joke they are a mistery, they ve been seen around over work benches, in small plastic boxes, in people pockets, especially those ones with a bit of glue left from the tape are dreadful ! yet it s almost impossible to find them when you need them and then you have to sacrifice a working resistor. But the tolerance is your best bet! hope that enlighten you ;)

  13. the world is as perfect as it can be, the world you see it just exists behind your eyes if you don t like it it takes a PIC cpu cycle to change it, it s all about you.Who are we to believe we can define the quality of things? *cimo hides under the desk, put is fingers in his ears and start saying "lalalalalala"
  14. hallo i am very fond of my PowerBook 1.33 , i really want to keep it as long as possible before switching to mac intel or whatever i may be interested in in the future. Therefore i am trying to squeeze my old lappy s juice, maximized ram 7200 Hd etc. I see that 2.5 IDE to SD card adaptor are quite cheap and 8 Gigs SD cards are also affordable, has anybody tried them out in a laptop? any experience? thanks Simone

  16. is this a joke? how could you make the flushychat even slower? :D so is there a IRC channel to join? i am sure we can deal with it :-\ I need some MBchat !
  17. A very fast drop of voltage can t be detected by a normal multimeter but it would be enough to crash the PIC. Assuming there is need for that they would use a DC-DC IC. i am not sure 100% but it is worth a try, USB is tricky (if you have USB1.1 even less power!) Simone
  18. hi my first htought is that since you are powering from USB and using AINs then it may be possible that the supply is unstable causing the PIC to crash do this: 1)unplug the supply to the pots or just disconnect the AIN 2)try to supply with a stable 5 volts 3)use C5 hope it helps Simone
  19. maybe i am mistaken but i can remember that somebody did something similar, a audio patchbay running over MIOS, can t really find, any idea? Simone
