hi while traveling with my band i noticed that my pal Bonnie had bought new small head phone AKG27i for his multimedia player, i am a big fan of my Sennheiser PX200 so i decided to test the AKG and compare them to mine. Since AKG is a well known brand i was expecting a long term match, listening to various tunes to find a perceptible difference. No way! First of all the AKG looks like a toy which is going to break soon (the PX200 are sturdy as hell), the overhead trimming is uncomfortable, the plastic parts make a weird cracking noise when you move your head, but worst of all, the sound is ridicolous as far away from decent monitoring as it can be: lacking in the middle range with too emphasized treble and bass. So if you are planning to buy some small portable headphones just avoid those AKG and go for the Sennheiser, if you have a normal-big head/ears you probably want to buy the PX100, it s well known (and i ve tested it) that the PX200 (closed back model) won t actually cover most of ears therefore loosing part of the lowest bass freqs.(i was lucky to have ears fitting nicely with them) Hope it can be helpful Simone

yep, Alogic is also sad about that, he s put so much effort in this project, too bad that a language barrier is avoiding the sharing! I m gonna have a talk with him and see if i can help with the translation of the main part, also his gf (Aleeeeee!!!) is eager to help out, let s see if we can sort something out. simone

hi if you or your band make any music or video with a Linux based environment and are eager to come and play in Tenerife, Spain, send a demo with what a live of yours could sound like to droneatthedoors@gmail.com (and PM me as well), or link me to your web sites, myspace accounts, etc. We prefer European citizens because of the limited budget but as long as we can deal with it (where "it" stands for tickets) it s not a limitation. Aside from Linux based artists i am also looking for experimental acts of any kind so feel free to show me your stuff. Hurry up! The event will take place between the 21th and the 23rd of May. Simone

too slow, you would need to replace the engine, but it s a good idea for the mechanical construction

^stryd i didn t delete them, but somebody remembered me what i had written.. yes, silly, written quickly, maybe a few tips about how to give good tags for dumb asses like me. julie NO, that is true only if you create-record files from within ableton.they will be stored in a temp folder and added to the project folder only if you save them as you say.But i load the files in the folder from the browser so ableton won t delete unused files simone

I worked for 5 months a year in the last 4 years (before i was a global globetrotter and before that a citizen of a boring town near Venezia, Italy) as ecologic, bio-dynamic carpenter in Denmark, we build funny and experimental projects mainly in eco-communities, maybe i ll find the time to show you some of my works.(yes it s hard work but it s fun, sometime) The rest of the year i live in Tenerife that is a small vulcanic island, Spanish colony, in the Atlantic ocean, near Morocco. Here i mainly do nothing ;D but i fill up my free time with some dj sets in the local clubs (lately in the mainland as well), giving some lessons to DJs who want to learn how to use their laptop for djing, designing some web sites, but mainly i exercise the ancient job of being a lovely father. You are all welcome to come and visit Simone
