  1. hi again i went to ESI s web (no audiotrack ! same company though) and it says: now just for sake of it, try to install driver: http://download.esi-audio.com/?w=esi&p=16&g=4&l=en and see if it recognizes the interface. You could also try the RomI/O drivers. Simone
  2. .. i find myself on the unfinished crusade for the perfect setup... ..i use 2 turntables with 2 phono preamps and Mspinky s timecoded vinyls.I route the two channels in my external soundcard and then into 2 tracks in Ableton. Therefore i take out the 2 tracks again from my soundcard (2 separate channels) and feed them in an analog mixer, from there to the amp. Now, i can t really figure out how to use return channels, since i don t use the master channel, where should i send the signal of the return channels? any idea is appreciated
  3. hi sasha i own an older midi mate, that one with the little transparent box and the red silk screened pcb.It works ok also with sysex. NOTE: you need the driver to send sysex, normal midi will work also without the driver, this for XP. I am not sure if the chip inside is the same as yours but we could check it out if you pass me the driver, and see if it is the same as the one i ve used with my midi mate. I can t imagine the guys at audiotrack making a new device which is poorer than the previous in the same line. simone
  4. hi generally speaking no but there is a "flip" function that will let you use the encoders to set the tracks volume (and vice versa) simone

  8. i got some 74HC14 (no HCT) but the burner doesn t work. When i plug the lpt cable the red led lights up, is this anormal? When i plug the lpt cable without the supply connected, the red and green led light up but not so brightly as with the supply. This doesn t happen all the times ! it happens "sometime". ??? simone
  9. ciao mario i am not (yet) a big SID expert but as far as i can see, you ve uploaded an app that expects 4 (or more) sids to be connected and pressing the menu buttons probably you try to switch the SID engine (1,2 to 3,4) about the encoder, can you tell us which kind of encoder you are using there are some issues with some specific encoders simone

    Bulk Order Rules

fine and fair, we are here to learn mmm, we have to take into account 2 factors: the "i want 25 of each color, now" syndrome and the "i ve found a very good deal for 4mm washers, let s make a bulk order" trend as i ve said before, my main concern is avoiding bad BOs i quote myself and Jimp btw greetings to Ms ScreamingRabbit good idea, but not everybody is able/has the time/wish/capacity to setup a website, you see? i ve visited your link and i was almost there to order something, 25 of each color! ;D i would personally insist on this point.Ok let s not make any rule but let s try to keep BOs at the same standards as uCapps itself. There is a difference between money saving and a lottery. UPS UPS UPS it sounds like the new title of this thread English please! :P speak up! simone
  11. ok bulk orders has brought big advantages ;D to the community but also big troubles >:( .I take the responsibility to talk for all the community and say "No more troubles, no more bad feelings in the community", there is nothing personal against or pro any specific user, just the wish to keep on with the bulk orders in a proper way. Now, let s forget about the past and try to figure out what we can do. Some kind of rules have to be written down and become a reference for all the BO organizer and users. Write in this thread what you think it is important for both sides. I ll give a little start: a)never ship before you have tested the items 1 by 1. b)a BO organizer takes full responsibility for the whole deal, if you don t feel comfortable with it, DON T DO IT ! no bulk order is way better than a bad bulk order c)users take full responsibility to pay promptly and properly d)BO organizers should give their telephone number to each of the BO user (is this maybe too much?) let s see what comes out and try to compile a general list of rules Mods feel free to take over this. hi well i did it ! i think this is not epoxy, i am a windsurfer and i recognize the smell of epoxy from miles away and i do know how much it itches when you work with it! The 7805 was attached to the heatsink by a screw or rivet, i won t be able to replace that so i will just put the new7805 in place and fill the gap with epoxy dot simone
  13. hi phineus have you considered building a little checking circuit and testing them ? don t wanna be negative or anything... ;) simone

  16. hallo i really can t get the pic burner to work. the 100R test goes right i am using 2X 9 volts batteries to supply the whole thing my compy is a 1000Mhz PIII the red led is always on i can only trig the data led from within the application i am using cheap 7414 (no hc) can that be a problem? any idea? simone
  17. yep, i admit, i agree with you, also the schematic is as it should be. On the other end it is nice to know that uCapps may be a place where people without the ability to understand (or to learn to understand) can improve their knwoledge and their ability (and wish, of course) to learn.Ok now i am going slightly off topic but regarding i am sure that there are quite a few persons out there that came to mother uCapps without really fully understanding how to read that schematic and now they are happily toggling their knobs :P in that case people should stay away from main voltages and especially from asking 1000000 questions before even trying by themselves and reading reading reading Seppo, Wilba, etc etc i am not questioning (EDIT: only) you! I am mainly questioning myself, i ve been down at the Spanish forum in these last months trying to do my best when needed, it s not always so easy to understand how far you can go "trying" to help people simone
  18. yes, sure, but this is not the point. My point is that for a completely newbie even on electronics things that for you seem to be obvious they can be unclear to him/her, leading to: http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php?topic=10374.0 anyway, nevermind it is just a little detail uh! 500! simone
  19. the connection to ground is not indicated... a guy in the spanish forum couldn t find out how to connect the buttons.. simone
  20. hi it would be nice if here http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp/mbhp_dinx4_32buttons.pdf you could see where to connect all the buttons to GND simone
  21. ..that was a good one thanks!!..
