nop no debounce !
-
:o ;D ;D ;D it just works ! it works perfectly, i haven t noticed any "lost hit" or "double hit" uh oh :-X

hallo it sounds easy but i need help: 4 buttons with leds 1 pot (pedal) MB64 a)do the usual tweaking on main.asm b)in mb64_meta.inc change meta event 00 MB64_META_Handler_00 ;; set global channel to the second byte of a F0 xx meta event movff MB64_GLOBAL_CHANNEL, MIDI_EVNT1 return tx TK c) change mb64_presets.inc MB64_Presets_OffsetButtons ;; DIN/DOUT group 0 BUTTON_ENTRY 0xf0, 0x01, 0x7f, 0x00 BUTTON_ENTRY 0xf0, 0x02, 0x7f, 0x00 BUTTON_ENTRY 0xf0, 0x03, 0x7f, 0x00 BUTTON_ENTRY 0xf0, 0x04, 0x7f, 0x00 BUTTON_ENTRY 0x94, 0x30, 0x7f, 0x00 BUTTON_ENTRY 0x95, 0x30, 0x7f, 0x00 BUTTON_ENTRY 0x96, 0x30, 0x7f, 0x00 BUTTON_ENTRY 0x97, 0x30, 0x7f, 0x00 >>in main.asm i set pots number to 1 and buttons to 4 >>i just need to change the cc/channel sent by the pot with the 4 buttons so also a "group" switch would be ok, but groups are only on MB64E not in MB64 -am i right? i need MB64 for the soft take over, it s a pedal for guitar considering a possible development, is it possible to assign the midi channel via meta event to 2 buttons (next/previous) and assign eg 8 leds to monitor in which global channel the box is? thanks simone

F0 00 00 7E 40 00 01 F7 string every 20 ms *solved*
cimo replied to cimo's topic in Testing/Troubleshooting
i told the board it was going to be thrown in a bucket filled with 30vol peroxide and muriatic acid -
hey J (and whoever) i ve miserably failed my first PCB for the sparkfun buttons, i have to say i didn t tried it out yet but it looks like a piece of ship (a wrecked one) or like a piece of sheep (a dead one), terrible vias, shortcut pads, badly cut dimensions, a disaster. If that s going to work anyway .. i ll call it a miracle and make myself priest i need to redraw the layout on eagle, move the vias which are on the pads out of there so they won t interfere with the buttons pressure zone. I tried the cool amp thingy (tx smash and jimp) it goes without effort on an unetched board. i ll give it another go, if it doesn t work this way i ll have to ask mr olimex to do the dirty job for me, with a real unpleasant feeling of failure by my side, that s life. updates soon

what does an endless repetition of the F0 00 00 7E 40 00 01 F7 string every 20 ms mean? tx simone
