Soweit ich das mitbekommen habe kann Micha die Dateien, die der Frontplattendesigner erstellt, in CAD Dateien umwandeln welche dann lesbar für die CNC sind. Korrigiert mich also wenn ich falsch liebe, aber mit in FPD erstellte Designs sollte Micha durchaus was anfangen können.

ich guck heut abend nochmal was ich genau habe zum verschicken und schick dir dann ne pm mit allem, was ich noch habe.

ich hab hier noch ne kiste rumstehen in der ein paar einzeilteile von nem atari (glaube 500), 2 c64ern und nem 1541 diskettenlaufwerk. netzteil für den atari ist auch noch dabei...die tastaturen sind auch noch mit dabei. also falls du damit was anfangen kannst, gib mir bescheid. ps: die c64er kommen natürlich ohne soundchips ;)

looks like it has to be some custom pcb design where the core- and sid-module are put on one pcb. I really would like to take a look inside that box ;)

what's wron with them? I won't touch them anyway, but I'm just curious...

@modularkomplex hmm...du hast die größeren Caps für den 8580 drin. Bei mir kommt der 6581 drauf, daher nur die 470pF Caps. Kann gut sein, dass ich, wenn ich mir das Modul für den 8580 baue, auch noch Probleme mit der größe der Caps bekomme ;)

auf meinen steht 470G 160V drauf. Sind 470pF Kondensatoren

schrumpfschlauch ist nicht wirklich nötig. siehe attachment.

meinst du damit die Vorlage von TK oder Deine Vorlage? Wären in dem Preis auch farbige Gravuren enthalten?

ja nun...das kommt ja wie gerufen. ich suche schon einige zeit nach leuten, die mir eine frontplatte nach TKs vorlage fräsen könnten, doch bis jetzt hab ich noch niemanden gefunden der es mir zu einem angenehmen preis machen könnte. schaeffer apperaturbau ist mir doch irgendwie etwas zu teuer mit den knapp 200EUR für diese eine frontplatte. Nun wollte ich dich mal fragen was Ihr so nehmen würdest. Diese matte Acrylplatte hätte schon was stylisches. Gruß Daniel

ich denke passive kühlung sollte ausreichend helfen. Im C64 sind die Chips ja auch mehr oder weniger passiv gekühlt, wenn auch nicht sehr effektiv ;)

afaik there are only PDFs available of the curcuit schematics but not of the PCB layout. Maybe someone could make a screenshot from a PCB layout in eagle and convert the image into a PDF document.

lange genug bei ebay schauen und man bekommt auch c64er die günstig sind. ich selbst habe zwei C64II (8580) für zusammen 1EUR + Versand und zwei alte C64 (6581) für jeweils 6EUR + Versand ersteigern können. Mit etwas Geduld gibt's die auch günstig. Weiss nicht wie die Situation mittlerweile auf ebay ist, aber meine SIDs habe ich vor etwa einem halben Jahr ersteigert. Denke nicht dass die mittlerweile viel teurer geworden sind. Teuer wird's erst wenn die Auktionen knapp werden. Und davon kann man im Moment noch nicht wirklich reden.

ganz normalen isolierten draht genommen, etwa auf die richtige länge geschnitten...auf einer seite doppelt soviel isolation weggeschnitten wie nötig, kurz angelötet, isolation verschoben und auf der anderen seite dann auch angelötet...überstehenden draht danach einfach weggeschnitten.

you will find a 6581 for sure but I can't tell you what revision the chips will have. but I think it's r4.

i think I have two c64 keyboards left somewhere. I will check as soon as I get back home.

afaik the only way besides checking the keys is to open up the unit and check the chip itself. but so far checking the keys hasn't failed me. so it looks like a rather save way to determine which sound chip is inside.

yeah, you should discuss this with TK directly. But maybe he is already doing something about it.

it looks like you mean the C64G. The C64G comes with the old style case but with the same print of function-keys like the new C64c and with a SID-8580. You can see a picture of the C64G here
