  1. If you don't mind paying shipping twice.. ::)
  2. Ich dachte ptitjes wollte den Rest nehmen ???
  3. Yeah, I have to throw up twice a day. ;D ;D I understand that It takes some time until you've understood how MBHP works, but after that everything's really easy.

    noob fragen

  5. Smash and MidiMike ship worldwide. You need A Core, AINs for pots, faders, touchpads, Ribbon-controllers,joysticks. Basically for all the analog stuff DINs for Buttons and encoders. All the digital stuff DOUTs for LEDs and Relays you won't really need ( AOUTs, for controlling (and/or midifying) analog gear ) It's all there. search µcApps, the wiki and use the search-function of the forum. it's not hard to find the necessary information.

  8. My experiences: SmashTV: - Double Layer PCBs -> small size - Sillscreen -> you can easily see where the components should be mounted - soldering mask -> prevents PCB from looking messy after soldering - it takes some time until he's shipping the orders Mike: - common Pertinax PCBs, one sided - soldering mask - quite fast shipping IMHO my 2 cents. I've bought a MBHP_USB and a MB_Plus PCB from Mike and the PCBs for my Dual-SID step C from Smash and I can say that there's no big difference in the quality of the PCBs. matthias

    Strange Noise

of course I used the transistor which is on the pcb cause I didn't want to fry it. I connected the amp to J3, the audio-out of the pcb.

    Strange Noise

There's absolutely nothing wrong with my amp. The TDA7052 is probably my favourite IC and the proposed circut is really idiot-proved. (attachment) It's the same with my soundcard. The only solution I see is to use optocouplers to connect SID and CORE Module and to completely shield the Cores. :-\ Unbenannt.JPG

OK. you're da boss ;D nothing. noise. :-\ [btw. I'll be in berlin from 25-29 june '07]

    Strange Noise

ok.I've completely removed the whole SID-PCB, powered the core and connected a 10*10cm piece of aluminium-foil to the amp-input. guess what. right. noise. :( The question that I'm asking myself is how does changing the MIOS-app on the PIC (testtone-app -> SID V1.74685) make the Core send out electromagnetic waves in an audible range?
  14. Oh come on. planting a tree doesn't seem to be that hard. ;D
  15. Isn't there the possibility to connect pots directly to some pins at the Core-PBC which can then be used as a LFO? using the modmatrix you could modulate tuning, resonance, cutoff, env. mod, decay, and accent with the LFOs which means with the pots.
  16. what about an external midi-controller?
  17. just tell me the size and how thick the wood should be. I'm glad if I can help you, It would be a real shame if one of your projects would be ruined :-\
  18. I think my post inspired you ;D
  19. Hi, on monday i'm going to spend 5 days in Berlin and as I'm usually living on the countryside and haven't had any real contact to electronic (live-)music, I wanted to ask you whether you know any nice and interesting locations such as clubs and bars in Berlin. thanks! :)

    Strange Noise

I did a test some time ago: I've completely removed every IC from the SID-PCB, disconnected the SID-PCB from the powersupply and the Core. It was basically just a PCB with resistors and caps that was connected to a little amp. There was the noise. It got louder as I moved the cable that was connected to the SID-pcb at the one side and open at the other side nearer to the PIC.

    Strange Noise

I've put a 1K (2*2K in paralell) resistor between SC and +5V and another one between SD and +5V. still noise. :'( btw. the noise starts when the display shows the MOIS version.

    Strange Noise

yes. the 2 pins are shorted. the strange thing is that even though the SID-chip isn't plugged into the socket the noise occours. I'll try to fix the bankStick-issue now... and I pray that this was the error ::)

here you go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqWhOjqHhq8 Crappy noise recorded with crappy Digital camera mic. :P
  24. you said that mahagoni-wood is hard to get in serbia. If you want me I can ask some cabinetmakers or ask some guys in a DIY-store if they've got some. It shouldn't be that hard in germany. then I can send (and sell ;D) it to you
