  1. sorry for the debug... i take all the time to build cool it with optimum conditions... more than 30hours (Thorsten is a god , a robot or the god of robots to manage it in 15h) since the problem i reflow many times...! for the resistor/transistor pairs: there are a shortcut between each resistor pad (resistor was 0.2 ohm value) without the components short is present! no solder mask scratched for the 74hc165 pin 6 is shorted to ground or 5v because i've got a short between 5v and ground (when mesuring between 5v and ground at J3: 0,2ohm) i've change this IC and it's the same...
  2. thanks for the tips, recheck and recheck...but don't find the short appears at Q8/R20 and Q37/R47 and pin 6 ic13... it could be a bad IC.
  3. A new BLM has Been Bugged! have got a short beetwen 0v and 5V...
  4. When we love , we don't count.... (french expression) tack solder is cool... fix/align make me scream! :D i start soldering leds with a classic 30w iron and i go to supplier buy a real iron ESD temperature programmable... (260°)... can't wait for the 1n4148! :D
  5. i solder the green ones... more than 7 hours.... Thorsten you're definitely a god! :D go to the blue... Andy, some bicolor led in smd package could work in this design? it could save buck and time. something like this: http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/239/S_110_LTST-C155KGJRKT-587277.pdf
  6. the leds are moisture sensitive level 3 ,you've got 168h for reflow when the package is open! (source wiki)
  7. So i will wait to solder the 10k sliders received this morning! have you test the 10k value? (is the fonction activating and working properly with 10k?) what is the total consumption of BLM? we agree that is 20mA leds!? i was thinking have a dedicated power supply for the BLM like a meanwell 5V 3A (don't think the 7805 inside my SEQ will be happy!) or upgrade my SEQ power supply...
  8. TK open the way... let's go! i waiting for mouser ,i take blue and green leds but i don't believe in this colors...let's see...what happens...in reality!
  9. yeah! BOUM BOUM BOM! (i forget the thx for the chocolate)
  10. minicore goes on the high right corner! perfect :D
  11. Is the Looper or echo will be implemented?
  12. got mine! beautifull! thx!
  13. need more foot and a midibox PS3!
  14. Oktoberfest! Oktoberfest! :D
  15. I'm back no problem to wait for the case.... no problem if the case is a bit high priced let's wait and see...
  16. Hi flyweight with this way it's basic ! on or off.... :pirate: i don't have time to achieve seq part 4017 rolling circuit ... so many project! i'm working to have decent bassdrum solenoid mechanism... have no idea how to implementing velocity.... it could be a nice feature ... just digital control of timer setting of the 555 will work... i see some video on yutub that velocity works...(on a same solenoid and fast retrig capability)

  18. i'm really interested too! case+pad+pcb
  19. the concept is to control acoustic drum...or anything else I see some people asking on uCApps forum to drive solenoid from a core module. the problem is solenoid need a fixed timing to have the proper action! whith MBseq or a software you could control the lenght (decay) but you've got to redefine at each note the good value and if you change BPM the parameter change (stretching). to have the desired fixed timing two solution: -edit the log (too hard for me) -fixed circuit: at the output pins of a DOUT 74hc595 you plug this circuit: http://electronicdesign.com/test-amp-measurement/nand-gates-enable-trigger-lockout-555-timers R is a pot Time=1.1xRxC with a TIP122 at the output of the NE555 (1k resistor between) I build 8 of this circuit for a DOUT for a special project and it rocks! next step is the roll action: one solenoid haven't the possibility to roll a snare the concept is to use 2 (or more) solenoids on the sna from one DOUT output! the trick is to use a CD4017 clocked by the DOUT output and configured for the number of solenoid (like analog seq). to do
