because of a lack of time and the fact that i don't need it anymore i want to sell my mbseqv3. according to the rules of the community i don't want to make money with it and so i want to give it to a member of the community. the sequencer is build into a c64 case and consists of the following modules: 1x core, 1x doutx4, 2x dinx4, 1x dinx2, 1x bankstickx8 (512) and one iic-midiout that is not connected at the moment. the encoders are alps stec12 and the pcbs are self-etched. at the moment it is configured as a midibox64e controller with pic18f452, but i will give one pic18f4620 with it. the displays are standard green with backlight. i have added two pictures so you can see how it looks like. http://rapidshare.com/files/318099528/IMG_0106.jpg http://rapidshare.com/files/318099736/IMG_0108.jpg i paid about 140 euros for the parts. cause i don't want make money with it i would give it away for this price. cheers jan

Also ich meine das sich sowas auf jeden Fall lohnt wenn man nen SID-Synth bauen will. Jedoch bekommt man in der Bucht auch manchmal defekte SIDs. Ich kann dir nur Wilba im Fleamarket Thread empfehlen. Da bekommst du "neue" SIDs. Das sind unbenutzte 6582. Das sind die gleichen wie die neueren 8580. Außerdem testet Wilba die Dinger bevor er sie verschickt. Ich hab mir da auch welche geordert. Und das tolle ist, die Dinger kosten unterm Strich das gleiche wie ein gebrauchter C64 in der Bucht. Und Wilbas SIDs sind unbenutzt :) Da musst du dann halt ein bisschen Englisch kommunizieren, aber es lohnt sich ;)

Außerdem wurde ja schonmal danach gefragt wo Du wohnst, da bestimmt jemand nicht so weit weg von Dir wohnt, der Dir helfen kann. Danke für die schnelle Hilfe Thorsten :) Habe eben nochmal alles gecheckt, und von der Elektronik her ist alles in Ordunung. Habe dann nochmal auf alle PICs MIOS und die Software neu aufgespielt und jetzt gehts. Da muss ich einen Fehler beim MIOS aufspielen gehabt haben. Hatte die Software mehmals neu aufgespielt und das Problem war nicht weg. Jetzt habe ich nochmal MIOS überall neu aufgespielt und das Problem ist weg :D Danke nochmal für die Hilfe. Gruß Jan

Hi, habe meine MB6582 jetzt fertiggestellt. Hab auch erfolgreich die RC13 auf den ersten PIC bekommen. Aber wenn ich jetzt die Software auf die anderen clonen will (beim starten menu butteon gedrückt lassen) bekomme ich folgende Fehlermeldung auf dem Display: SID1 not available (CAN Bus Errors) wenn ich dann nochmal normal reboote ist SID1 wieder da, aber wenn ich dann auf SID2 umschalten will kommt wieder die gleiche Fehlermeldung. Habe den die Slaves mit den jeweiligen IDs gebrannt und ein Upload über MIOS Studio ist erfolgreich, aber wenn ich dann zwischen den SIDs schalte, kommt wieder die gleich Fehlermeldung. Was kann ich dagegen machen???

I looked in a lexicon because i'm from germany and my english is not the best and searched a word for "Grat" and that means that there is an overlaying rest of aluminium over the holes. The lexicon said "burr". I have already glued the screws to my panel and so i don't want to send it back. And i don't think that, if the company gets a new chance, the panels would be better. especially because of the burrs, here the company has to mill a new panel. So i think trying to get some money refunded is a good option. i paid 10$ for postage. and if the company would fund the postage, i prefer to get the money.

I'm also a bit annoyed. I haven't check it exactly like you Wilba but i noticed the alignment faults. But mine are different that yours, so the whole batch must have different faults and it think that many panels are different to others. The fault i recogniced first was that the word SUSTAIN of the envelope section is much closer to the encoder hole than the other words. I also can't explain it to me how this can happen. So what can we do??? The panels are sent all over the world and sending back will cost every a lot of money. I think we have to talk to the fab to refund the money or a part of the money. And those who don't care about the faults use their panel and the others can arrange a new bulk order. That's my opinion, but i don't know how you all think about it.

That doesn't matter because it's a parallel wiring and the potential is the same in this chain.
