I'm not sure if you need an account or not. I was under the impression you did so I got my mate to sign up. Next time i looked it didn't look like you had to be a business. What kind of info soes it ask you to provide? -
I really hope this works out OK. It sounds like there's a good chance these panels/pcbs could turn up eventually. Mental illness/depression is awfullcuts/breaks/wounds can be fixed quite easily but with something in the mind it's usually years before it's recognised there is a problem, let alone working out what the problem is and being in a state to repair it. This project has had a lot of issues so far. It's all going to make that acid bassline sound extra phat when the boxes are complete though. G

I have no problems with helping out. I don't have much electronics experience and I can't code or even pretend to be able to understand how i'd make an app for MIOS. Helping out with bulk orders is my way of putting something back in to the community so I'm more than happy to do this. G -

More than willing to do that. I have a set of RS catalogues so can get details from there. Any ideas from last time what the approx postage cost will be. i don't think we need to be exact on overall pricing for no but ball park figure would be good. It'll have to wait for next week due to Birthday commitments, ie it's my birthday this weekend and there's every chance I could end up being committed. :D -

Calm down man, there's no need for the aggression. I wouldn't have thought this is one of the "wait patiently" situations. If you've paid for something and it hasn't arrived within the agreed time frame then you have every right to enquire whats going on. Bulk orders take time. The order needs to be made and invoiced, funds need to clear twice, the item has to go through customs and probably be scruitinised before being sent on. Then all the items have to be all counted out, bagged and enveloped. Envelopes have to be addressed, taken down to the post office, weighed, stamped, and customs forms sent out. They then need to go through customs again and be scruitinised before being delivered. All this has to be done in somebodies spare time for no money. Then there's always the chance that the package could go missing on the way, personally when I've done the ALBS order I've had two packages go missing which I replaced out of my own pocket as well as a couple that got sent back to me for some reason... It has been a long time Neb is the only one that can keep you updated. -

[MB-6582 related] PT-10 box Europe Bulk Order Thread
Goblinz replied to gajimicu's topic in Bulk Orders
The rest of the thread would suggest that nothing has been sorted yet, just discussions as to where they may be ordered from and who may be ordering them so no -one can tell you when the order will take place. No doubt there will be a wiki created at some point inviting people to add their order. From past experience it is a right pain to go through a thread looking for people's orders. Keep an eye on the thread, Ordering info and a timeline will be published as soon as details are worked out. G -
Just remembered this from school. If for whatever reason you are soldering ICs without a DIL socket or even transistors you can dessipate some of the heat and therefore protect the componant a bit by clipping an old style bulldog clip on to the componant. G

Thanks very much, it's a ppreciated. Should give me a better idea of what I need to do. Don't take this the wrong way, but I think I was trying to make things too tidy, IE everything mounted on the strip board with minimal jumpers just connecting tracks, hence the reciculous amount of time I've spent on it... Maybe good for very small circuits but not so good for this one. G

Call your friends, tell your family, The Albs "Waldorf" knob order number 4 is here! I'm going to be ordering some more knobs from Albs in the near future. ALBS have a large minimum order for these so it's not easy to get them on an individual basis. For those of you that don't already know, these are the "Waldorf" knobs as used by Wilba's MB-6582. These are very nice soft touch knobs and compliment the PT-10 case and front panels perfectly. Here's the link to the wiki with all the information you need. http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/albs_waldorf_knob_bulk_order When you add your name to the list please PM me with your paypal email address, contact email address, and delivery address exactly as you want it to appear on the envelope (seperate lines for each line of your address) I require payment for these before the 21st September for these and then will make the order at the end of the month. Please don't add "Me too" to this thread. I have set up a wiki page with full details and an order list. Simply login to the wiki and add your name to the table. Make sure that you review and check it before saving it down and make sure that you have only added your details to the list.

I'd be wanting some chips if there's a bulk order being arranged. I don't fancy organising it myself though, another ALBS order is imminent. G
-
The front panels are specific to the PCB as Sasha has modified them with a slightly improved layout. I doubt there are any spares at the moment as there's been some unfortunate circumstances but Sasha will be able to tell you for sure. G
-
Hi, I will be organising another bulk order within the next couple of days. Keep an eye on the bulk-orders section. G
-
That would be wonderful, thanks. Just a photo top and bottom should be enough to get me on my way. G

I'm building the MBHP-Burner on Strip board. So far I've spent about 10 hours trying to design the layout but seem to be getting a lot of jumpers. Does anybody have an already tried and tested layout (I notice there's a jpeg of a stripboard burner on ucapps) they could send me before I go insane? G
-
Hmnn, who fancies going through the wiki history log and naming and shaming then? ;D

Looks like it's worth signing up from what i can see from work. They are only excerpts from the full lessons though so I guess they'll only include enough info to get you interested in the full courses. I've just done a quick search for free online ableton tutorials and haven't found anything (Only "tasters") apart from this http://sonictransfer.com/category/tutorials. I've found plenty of FruitLoops and Logic tutorials online before, When I get a minute I'll search for some and post a thread, it's be god to have a collection of decent training links. G

Are you sure your C64 PSU is fried? I thought mine was so took a look inside and found a burnt out fuse... May be worth a look!
