  1. No, don't worry about that, I've done a few of these orders now. As with the other people organising bulk orders, I am sorting these out in my own free time and for no profit and it does take a while for reasons that I have already mentioned. I will post here when I get more info. With past experience ALBS' delivery time cna be anything between a week - 3 weeks (although that was over the holiday time and I think they'd be milking it if none of them came to work during October fest :D). Eddie
  2. Can't help I'm afraid but I'd appreciate it if you could post some mp3s showing the difference. Will this not affect the cut off frequency as well? Maybe some sort of filter switch would be a good idea?
  3. I suppose so. I can see why they want verification on things though, the service could be abused very easily.
  4. I have not had this problem and I've recieved over that for buld orders this year. I have gone through all the verification its and pieces though... There's one for your phone number where they ring you and one for your bank account where they pay small amounts in and you have to tell them how much it is... Have you done all ths? Paypal suppost is useless,I hope it worksout for you.
  5. Thanks for that, I really liked Grotesque!
  6. Just a quick update... The money transfer to ALBS is complete and I am currently waiting for the package to be delivered. Once the knobs arrive I have to hand count them, bag them up, stick them in the envelopes, address them, fill in customs declerations and find time to go down to the post office and send them out.... All this takes time, we should be looking at the first week in November all being well. E
  7. Seconded, watched it several times last night. Be sure to let us know if you do any more!
  8. That's the problem, your map is upside down, your chips are currently floating around in the Arctic Ocean.
  9. I was unable to find one when I was looking at the idea of sourcing parts myself. I'm sure that if you found time to compile one and stick it in the wiki then lots of people would find it handy.
  10. Is it worth organising a bulf for these?
  11. Perhaps a needle and lots of patience!
  12. I thought that when passing on open source stuff on it was usually part of the requirements to provide a copy of the license????
  13. Kartoshka, I never had any idea you looked so female. ;)
  14. Good effort Smithy!
  15. My PSY has about 7.5mm of resin in the upper part of the case so it's fairly well secured. i suppose it could be removed of the case was cut/dremmeled. Unscrew the bottom of your PSU and take a look. ***Goblinz Disclaimer*** Make sure it's unplugged first. ;D

  17. There will be a few people wanting these to go with the MB-6582 front panel, maybe somebody could do a bulk order???? I have not been able to find the part at ALBS.DE though. Wilba, did you get yours from there?
  18. What's the ALPS part number? Ignore that, thought the one you quoted was for Mouser!
  19. Once you've uploaded MIOS you will only get one upload request when you power your mbsid on. Boot up mios studio with the correct midi ports mapped and open up the midi in and midi out logs. Select the Hex to upload ans then turn on your SID. An upload request will appear in the midi-in log, as soon as you see this hit the button to upload and it should go without error.
  20. How does this stamper thing work for the standoffs? Does it spot weld them?
  21. Just take a look inside, it will be labelled as either an 8580 or a 6581 (No the 6582 as mentioned in a previous post, this is a replacement chip not actually used in the C64). They aren't too difficult to spot as they are nice big chips!
  22. Hi, Do you still have this, i'm really keen to get one to go with the Sequencer CS project that is ongoing. E
  23. If the drugs are stopping you from thinking things then you should try new ones! :P
