seems like you're still trying to translate what i said doug... ;D it's ok, my first attempts with english were sitting in front of TV with NES adventure games and dictionary... this was very fruitful: i could allow myself every amount of time to memorize the words and side-effectively fully understand the meaning of dialogues and directions in these games. Parents were quietly happy that their son is not vandalizing public property but learns foreign language ;) thanks 8-bit, and later thanks to world-wide network which by it's roots speak english as native. ;) i guess my curiosity is what caused to my huge involvement in early internet... immigrating from former ussr, i spent all my after-school time in front of those screens. could i be described as information thirsty? hmmm my weak point of reading is long books.... Most non-technical books is boring for me, by exception of a few names, who truly succeed involving you in their stories, leaving literally with tongue down for more.... (Kartoshka caught in a moment of creative thought) ... yep. i guess we really miss chat? :-* :'(

Great! it looks very nice with material type you choose. 2. so did we have set final color of the panel? 3. can custom design be engraved, or it's really going to be a nightmare for engraving man and not worth the effort per one-off panel? 4. can you please take a close-up picture of the engraving? like, near large text blocks a.k.a Spiders ;D Also please find the smallest x-height on the panel. Please take picture of that area too. And consequently, what is the absolute minimum, recommended engraving man? 5. Can color be added on the panel theoretically, excepting gaps? 6. i totally agree that real-life test test is neccessary with all parts and everything. thus we could see the whole and final picture, and adjust if required. MUST be tested. 7. really goodlooking one.

Thorsten, i confess: i misunderstand something. Please circle correct answer(s): option 1: we get the full depicted interface, which is ready to fire, we only need to solder it together. (or it even comes prebuilt) option 2: we get the chips (and...) A) Do we get something else per chip too, or only bare chips with ? B) You're going to build the circuit, effectively replacing existing one, and implementing it within MBHP. option 2.1 we get ONLY the chips from ploytec, cables, but not the pcb. Then, if so, is it possible within this batch to get from ploytec at least one of their standard USB-MIDI interface pcb, in addition to chips, like it appears on their homepage? I need it this interface for other uses too, rather than for MBHP exclusively. thanks for patience, stay tuned! :) Vlad

@nebula: any spares are welcome even in small quanitiy; yesterday i got a chance to tweak these on some mixing console... they feel pretty nice; if any spares, even 5-10, is welcome, so anyone who got way too much for himself are welcome to drop me a note, incl neb' ;)
