  1. This is really confusing I think. As far as I understand things... Does anybody take notice of these add requests? Are they meaningful at all? Do they sum up to a general idea of how many kits Smash will assemble? Is it compulsary to add a line to be offered to buy the kits as soon as they are finnished? I need a base PCB with parts (but no PICs) and a surface PCB but I didn't post that before because my idea was that I could just as well wait until they were completed.
  2. I guess the price tag is a good indication if it should be sabataged or not... I chosed between this one $8 and a gorgeous one for $40 but I would never have the heart to destroy that beauty.
  3. Thanks! I used ALPS 13,5mm black knobs from connrad. I don't know the part name, but here is a link to the shops product site. http://www.conrad.se/?article=715573
  4. Hehehe, I saved the old interior in a plastic bag in case I find use for the tubes etc. The old transformer supplies 60-something volts! My next project is rebuilding the PIC using tubes ;)
  5. I have completed my first MidiBox project, it might not be that big, but it is beautiful don't you think? My MidiBox64 consisting of a core, an ain with 30 pots, a din with four buttons and a 16x2 lcd housed in a 50's-style radio chassis. http://picasaweb.google.com/ur.johan.nilsson/MidiBox64
  6. Ah, I get the situation. So why did they prefer to use 6581s? Anyway, talking about the SID-Station. What kinds of spec does it have compared to a MB-6582?
  7. Back when Elektron released their SID-Station it was said that they "found an old forgotten stock of SIDs making it possible to fabricate a limited number of SID-Stations". Obviously that was sell talk, but I thought it sounded pretty reasonable at the time.
  8. These SIDs are left overs from the doom of the C64, right? The stock cannot be endless, do you have any idea how many SIDs are stuffed away out there? Did Commodore produce them or some other manufacturer? Several? I am just curious and by the way: e-mail with contact info sent.
  9. Hi I don't really get this eventhough Wilba explained it kind of throughly. I was not on the list (http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/wilba_6582a_sid_mega_sale) but would relly like to buy SIDs. Can I add my name to the list? Below the "these people might not get any chips"? Should I just wait for spares? I guess there are many people that can straighten this out for me.... Thanks.
  10. After some trial and error i found the file at http://miosstudio.midibox.org/MIOSStudio_beta7_5.jar.zip It is a zip file containing MIOSStudio_beta7_5.jar
  11. Is it just me or is the link to the download broken? I get "404 - Wrong Page 194.132.104.253"...
  12. Tack så mycket! Då har det blivit dags att löda!
  13. Hej!
