  1. That is exactly what I did with exactly that part exactly five minutes ago. Works more or less fine.
  2. This info should be added to the construction guide I think.
  3. Is any information on the right audio socket available? Datasheet? Should the they mount flat against the pcb to fit the back panel och should they level 5mm above as the solder lug style audio sockets do?
  4. Ah, stupid me. You win hmm.... some virtual cut resistor leads... ____ ____ ____ ______
  5. Nice! What is the board to the right in this photo?
  6. Yes, but don't just use any bug. The ladybug has far better sound and quallity than ordinary black bugs plus they match the red pcb really nicely!

  8. Ah, that's news! How come I missed this info :P
  9. Three DINX4 and two DOUTX4 must be used together with an ultra core, right? What about putting a transformer inside the case and connect the box to main?
  10. I solved the problem two ways. 1) Borrowed a PICSTART Plus programmer from my colege and burned the chips. I didn't try them out yet, but they semed ok in the burning process. If they still don't work... 2) I got help from people in the commmunity. If you got a similar problem and live in Sweden, ask me and I will program your chips or give you a name of someone who can help.
  11. Just to be sure soundwell encoders = voti encoders = mb6582 encoders = wilba mb-seq v3 encoders?
  12. I am not sure about it, but these switches are the "too long ones" to I think. Am I right?
  13. Problem solved.
  15. I bought mine from Conrad. Check out part number 705300. I tried them on the mb-6582 cs pcb and they fit. Like in the alps case the data sheet soesn't mention if they narrow upwards but i took a chance and they do. i don't have case and panel yet so i am not 100% sure they will do but i would be very supprised if they don't.
  16. I have compared the data sheets now and can conclude that the only difference is that the beveled out (usually black metal) part enclosing the actual LCD of the voti display is 2 mm wider and 0.5 mm higher than the crystal fonts reference. Is that much enough to matter?
  17. When I see this I am very happy I got the PSU with the angle on it...
  18. The total doesn't make very much sense when there are several case designs to choose from. I can tell it has not been updated correctly by many people (including me) anyway.
  19. So, corner holes: no, mean custom metal sheet with studs? Just to be sure.
  20. Here is a picture of my recently finnished 5x5 stripbord based interface. After some stupid mistakes and miscalculations it now works perfectly. Looks pretty neat too except for the bulky screws on top. EDIT: Attached the picture
  21. mmm... looking good :P
  22. nice ;D
  23. Is there anything special to think about when selecting displays to fit the cs? Will this one fit: http://www.voti.nl/shop/p/LCD-22.html ?
