Great news to wake up to :) Thanks again TK Best regards Halvor

That would be great. :) Best regards Halvor

Ok. But is it possible to force the settings before compiling or upload them as sysex? Best regards Halvor
-
I have problems saving settings. I want to save Slew Rate for the different CV channels, for use with CC I also want to save Mode:CC and CC number for each CV channel None of these settings are saved in the Patch. The only thing that I have changed, that is saved is Scope settings. Can I force these settings from editing the files before compiling? I'm using it live tomorrow :/ Cheers

"Time (and TK) heals all wounds" Just upgraded my YM- synth controller to MBNG on a STM32F4, where TK has integrated Radio Buttons, so now it works properly

I am trying to get MIDI IN from a 5 pin DIN Can I use a "standard" MIDI IN circuit, like the Core8 circuit, with 5V and connect it to PA3? Or do I have to use the new MIDI I/O board? Never mind I just used the MIDI IN circuit from LPC 17, and it worked :)

Brilliant! Please share photos about the core, I think it's compatible. You might have to add a resistor, on J4 think, small mod anyway looking forward to see&hear it

I have a MBCV V2, and a NG I use W7 When connecting them to my computer, they both come up in the Device Manager as MIDIbox CV and MIDIbox NG but in Send SX and Ableton Live, only one come up I have used the Bootloader Update app. to "set single_usb 1" and "set device_id" Still it's not working Any suggestions?
-
thanks, found it :)
-
How is the AIN enabled? To me it looks like I have to set the mask in the setting file, but to what? And the merge function, is it just the merge options in the NG tool?
-
I have upgraded my MB64 for my AY-synth to NG on a STM32F4 to take advantage of the "Radio buttons" DINx2 (15 buttons) DOUTx2 (15 LED's) 2 pots Q: Is it possible to connect the 2 pots directly to the STM32F4? Q: Are the MIDI notes coming in through USB, merged with the CC messages from the buttons and output to MIDI1 OUT on PA2? Best regards Halvor

quick newbie question: I can save the patch, and I can see/read the file in the MIOS file browser, but when I press LOAD on the unit I get <no .MIO files> any suggestions?

Thanks Actually the switches are TE Con. FSM 103, with the original Sinclair QL caps, but yes they look like the Marquardt 6425 buttons you use :) Ha en fin dag Halvor -

MIDIbox CV for controlling 2 x MS-20 clone filters
eptheca replied to eptheca's topic in Design Concepts
thanks I'm looking forward to playing around with this new learnt feature  I just found out that the AC power supply I have that is 15V, really is 30V when it's not loaded, it's 15V when it's loaded to 510mA I don't know it the components on the filters and AOUT will draw that much, and I think that it also is affected by variations in the mains power. Do you think this will be a problem, and if so do you have a suggestion for a bipolar +/-15V regulated power supply? I thought it was strange. Turns out my Multimeter was way off, because the battery was "low" Now: perfectly calibrated MBCV V2 with AOUT, and +/- 15V for the filters :) on to the wires and front panel -

thanks again sneakthief, always there to the rescue :) I was getting worried that I wouldn't be able to use my new toy fully Should I calibrate it for min: 0V, max: 10,67V then? Do you know how the Keytracking / Pitch CV input works? -
MIDIbox CV for controlling 2 x MS-20 clone filters

I contacted the guy that designed the MS-20 clone filter, based on Rene Schmitz design. He says: if you want the full range you need +15v to -15v or +12v -12v if you want a limited range. He uses a Kenton MIDI to CV converter that can produce those values. Is it possible to modify the AOUT module to do that? -
the sammichSID base PCB has the J5, like the Core. PIC pins 2,3,4,5,7,8,9,10 called A0-A7. (only A0-A4 can be used on the sammich) I use these as Analog IN's on the sammichSID base PCB MB-SID V2's I have As you wrote, J5 can be used for the different purposes as set in the .asm file

after checking the pin connections and trying out another encoder with no improvement I changed it to DETENDED3, and now it works the problem was that after moving the encoder one step, sometimes it would jump back Cheers Thorsten :)

thanks sneakthief, I misunderstood the procedure They suggested that I'd buy insurance, and I thought that was for later when they ship it to me but really I payed 26 USD to ship it within China, and then the international shipping would be added later I'll stick to ebay :)
