Here are some first impressions from David's (Dawe) MIDIbox LC.

The panel is made by a big machine using a laser to cut.

Where did u get this laser cut, and how much was it?

Was it flat prior to cutting and bent afterwards?

Yeah nice layout

Laser cutting is done on a flat panel, you should be able to get a production engineering shop to do it, normally need to give them a .dxf or .dwg file (autocad) as the machine is CNC

Looking forward to seeing all the bits in it and the artwork.

BTW  Would you mind sending me the dxf of this so I could fluff with it for my box.

Instead of send in it to Ian just send it to Thorsten and ask him to upload it in the site. More ppl will benefit ;)
