Altitude Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 So now that I am done with mine, I have noticed that it wont keep the patterns when powered off. I have tried both a 256 and 512 eeprom and the pic does go through format routine but it still wont hold the patterns. Any easy things I may be overlooking before I pull it out of the case? Quote
TK. Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 Did you press ALT+Pattern button before power-off to store the current pattern? Best Regards, Thorsten. Quote
Altitude Posted April 17, 2010 Author Report Posted April 17, 2010 Did you press ALT+Pattern button before power-off to store the current pattern? Best Regards, Thorsten. Thanks TK. That's the ticket. So it is save to pattern by hitting ALT/PATTERN and the 1-8 and 9-16 keys? Is there a primer outlines the MB808/SEQ basic functions? The documentation at the MB808 site doesn't exist and the one here although helpful does assume some familiarity with the SEQ in general.. Quote
TK. Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Probably you missed this page: http://www.ucapps.de/midibox_808.html Best Regards, Thorsten. Quote
Altitude Posted April 17, 2010 Author Report Posted April 17, 2010 Probably you missed this page: http://www.ucapps.de/midibox_808.html Best Regards, Thorsten. Nope, didn't miss the page but did miss the relevant bit. Someone who does not quite have a handle on their MB808 functions gave me some not too accurate info about how it works. Thanks again, Raph Quote
stevenclements Posted June 8, 2013 Report Posted June 8, 2013 OK... I knew how to do this before... as I've got lots of cool programs I've inputed into my MB808 but I've not programmed it for way too long, and I've forgotten how to save. I kinda hit a wall... trying to understand how to save my patterns. any help would be appreciated. Steve Quote

mg73 Posted May 21, 2016 Report Posted May 21, 2016 Is it possible to use Song mode when the MB808 is stock?? Mine says "NO BANKSTICK..." when pressing Song GP. I have a IC 512 installed and can Load/save Patterns. I´m a missing something or do I need to install more Eeproms? Quote

sneakthief Posted May 22, 2016 Report Posted May 22, 2016 The from ucapps.de mb808 page: Song: restore pattern chain A1..H8. Up to 64 chains can be stored in a separate "Song" BankStick), same selection method as in pattern page. If no "Song" BankStick is connected, all LEDs will flash to inform you about this state (no Chain store/restore possible). The CS configuration of this BankStick can be changed in the setup_*.asm file. By default it's CS=3 Quote
TK. Posted May 22, 2016 Report Posted May 22, 2016 Perfectly quoted - it gives all information :) Best Regards, Thorsten. Quote
