Before buying all of the parts I needed for my MB-6582, I did some rudimentary parts and supplier research and I came up with a simplified BOM containing a couple different options.

This part of the build was admittedly, a bit messy and error prone for me, but I fumbled my way through it, based on some excellent guidance from @Hawkeye

My final build with encoder backlighting in place and a shiny StewMac Guitar knob. Multiple "shout outs" and "big thanks" to the many contributors and great ideas I leveraged to navigate my way through this build. It's a rewarding experience every single time I use my MB-6582..

    MB-6582 from Soup to Nuts

I thought it would be useful to capture my build process, from end-to-end, for anyone looking to build an MB-6582 today. I've attempted to combine many of the materials, mods and lessons learned from these forums, for easy reference. I've pasted links in the comments section of some of the key pictures, with useful resources I've taken advantage of.
