Ok this may seem plain to some but........... I want to build a controller using the 18f but in the same style as the mb64. That is with the same menu and learn functions for all my buttons enc's etc as is with the 877 mb64. Is there a menu function / handler in the mios for this ? S'cuse my ignorance Ian

Yo Serge Could you offer a short explanation on how to get a standard non mios (877) MB64 to learn the seperate meta events needed to control Logic audio. Just faders solo mute pan in the audio environment. I used to be able to do this with 4.8 but can't get my head around this meta event thing. I can only seem to learn the one mute / solo / or fader with the MB64 though I know they are all different meta events. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Ian

Hi Nat Should the capacitors for the xtal 18pf ??? I think the 877 oscillator will not function with this value. I think they are 33pf each. Regards Ian

Well I have to admit that I sold my old midibox... :o :o But then again that was'nt my intention when I made it I got rid of it cause someone went and designed the LC and mios. So I sold it to cover the cost of my motor faders, which I still hav'nt used yet :'( now sometimes I wish I had my old box back :( In the end I don't think I could be bothered to make for anyone else, even if they wanted to pay for it, I can't get my own finished :-/ Doc I reckon you oughta help him make one outa the goodness of ye heart ;) ;) Ian

Hey Doc Re Sid  It's only a single encoder and a 2 x 16 lcd. Works fine with the detented encoder. Pretty much the most basic setup I could get away with for now. Gotta get my LC made. Thanks to some good mios work LO it performs well. I can send you the syx if you wish but it depends which encoders you get. As for supplying more encoders. Unfortunately, at this stage, I won't be unless a bunch of guys get together and order some. However if anyone else would like to deal with an order then I will happily give them the details for contacting the manufacturer. If this changes I will let you know. Hi TK I have to get this footcontroller for Mackwreck finished and I don't want to use a footboard and a core. Can something be written into the mios, via bootstrap, to increment / decrement prog change ? Suggestions would be welcomed Thanks Ian
