  1. 1 user no guests....me ;) Ian
  2. With regards to LIVE2. I use this program live. Only I trigger it with my drum kit. I will be building a control surface for it. You can download the demo of this product....that's what sold me on it. Steinberg now have the rights to this program or something and they sell a cut down version for around $30. This has an upgrade path to version 2. Just remember that with a bankstick you can change what your buttons do in a flash. This way you can keep your trigger button number to a reasonable level and still have 16 banks of trigger values. ie 12 buttons x 16 bankstick positions...............you do the math ;) Later Ian
  3. Hi Smash I'm probably not going to buy any kits from you but nonetheless I would like to give RESPECT to your efforts. Bang up job. Good luck Ian
  4. Hi Steve Welcome.....post number one ;) Lay odds it won't be your last eh ;) Good for you Good luck Ian
  5. Hey there Pay Is it not cold where you live ;) Get those 805's glowing :o
  6. Anything around 12 - 15 volts would be fine. Even up to 18 volts is ok. The 7805 regulator is rated to higher than that but I don't like to push my luck ;) Make sure you include the bridge rectifiers in your modules too. It saves for incorrect polarity connection so you don't blow anything up at the start. :o have fun ;D Ian
  7. You gonna need a midi out. Even if you make the MIOS version you still got to tell it what to do. If you have a keyboard you can teach some note events and stuff. Perhaps you could use a serial midi driver and port out your serial. There's some serial stuff on here somewhere Ian
  8. No worries you guys BTW TT sent today 8) Ian BTW...........harden up Matt....... he he he ;)
  9. Ok done. tell you what it does'nt take long to get thru 250 encoders......phew :o I'll keep you posted Ian
  10. Okay I got 3 sblive's for midi I/O in the three studio pc's. 1 I use one to support my synth pc / sampler /drum kit. 1 I use for Ableton Live synced drum kit and my TR606 for live and studio work. and 1 in my main recording PC for midi I/O in which I also have an M Audio Delta 44. 4 in 4 out ( 4 of these can be added to a system ie 16 I/O ) this runs at 24 / 96. ASIO. Latency is negligable. Records quite nicely and has a breakout box. Go check out the driver updates and supported OS for the M audio delta series....very wel supported. There you go Ian

  23. Ok time to put you Aussies out of your misery on the encoder front. :o I'll probably regret it  ;) ;) I am about to TT the funds for a bulk order of encoders. This is the deal : Encoder with pushbutton switch 16 / 24 ppr detent ( only ok for MIOS at this stage ) Encoder with 20 ppr detent no switch. ( also only mios ) TK has checked the pdf for these and gave them the OK. The Price...............Wait for It :P :P  US$1.00 ea  ex New Zealand. Contingency on this would be say US10 cents either way dependent on exchange rate. I don't mind dealing with mailing these things to you guys. ;D Please let me know if you want some asap as I have already placed an order for 100 of each but could increase it before I TT the funds. I will fund the encoders myself for now. I 'm sure there will be no problem moving them on. BTW If I post these things to you then you won't get pinged the GST ;) Regards Ian
