Try opening a dos prompt (cmd.exe) , changing to the dir and running the batch file from there, see what it does. wow command line is a dying thing huh. Thanks man :) I don't think I'll attempt the resurrection unfortunately, don't quite have the resources, but with that info I should be able to get the thing going as a midi keyboard and have it remain intact so that it could be resurrected by someone later on. I know it's historical value and I'm really glad I won't have to destroy it, so thanks man!

Well to be honest I actually planned on using QBAS's code sending keypresses to the MK. Basically it's a cheap keybed to me, but I do wish I was about to trash something less rare :-\ Unfortunately I didn't get a cable, and haven't been able to track down so much as a pinout :( I don't know if these things are meant to be velocity sensitive or what, and I fear destroying a perfectly good velocity/aftertouch sensitive keyboard matrix decoder may be ahead of me :( If you have any info about these things it'd be great, or if you want to swap a similar board of lesser collector's value for it, just say the word and she's yours.

Lots of people swear by desoldering braid as well. I have a roll of it here but I've never had the need to use it because the pump does just fine :)
