  1. Thanks mate :D Yeh that's the great thing about the wiki, anyone can write into pages, create new pages, etc, and there is never any harm, because all the changes are saved along the way :) You can also make your own personal pages in the user gallery, which is great for blogs and showing off pictures of your gear and such ;)
  2. I'll try to help here, sorry if I am of no use... Sasa, you said they all send CC91, which channel? You've got the first 16 pots configured to send CC91, but all on different channels. How many pots are actually physically connected? You said "I know that pots are using entry 64-70." (Isn't it 65-?) Does this mean you are using 7 pots?
  3. Yeh it sounds fat but so do lots of synths... I'd much rather a few of the oscillators and a few of the filters in modular format, than a real pro-one.... Why bother cloning something you can make even better than the original?
  4. LOL ;D The guy who runs CGS is really friendly too, and the boards are cheap. The interesting part is controlling them with a MIDIBox ;)
  5. Or someone could put it in the wiki, and leave TK to do far more fun and interesting things like developing new apps ;) Besides, this isn't a MIOS problem, it's to do with the configuration of your PC. Mine's set up right, so I don't have that problem.
  6. You can put your function into USER_AIN_NotifyChange
  7. How about Google sketchup, image maps, and dynamic html?
  8. The readme file should not be 0 bytes. I think you need to download the file again.
  9. You could always learn :) When I started getting into this community, I knew a little about programming (lots of scripting and a couple of VB and project apps), and very very little about electronics hardware (at the component level, only highschool and some cables and a theremin)... But I had a strong background in IT and music, so I took the knowledge I had and read a LOT and I think I've improved a great deal. My progress is slow, but it's still progress. Trust me, anyone can do it if they want to :)
  10. Nah man you do the routing in your midi interface - it should never even reach windows, let alone your application. I don't know if the lower end interfaces allow for that kind of thing though, maybe that's why you tried to do it in software... The current versions of cubase are drawn from nuendo (pre-nuendo cubase was a port of the mac version, only post-nuendo cubase versions are windows-native) so they do share a lot of code. Anyway you're right, this is OT.... Sorry Villa'
  11. Added to wiki. http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=encoder_types Please feel free to add to this, it's very minimal :-\
  12. Nah that's on the end user (that'd be you hehe) Route the midi which is output from your controller into your PC, back out of your PC and into the controller. Fixed :)
  13. Hi TK, I think he meant the front panel, but I am curious about the interface logic part of things - do you use a program to assist with that kind of thing? I am about to do some of that work now, and I need all the help I can find ;)
  14. Don't thank us, we're just drooling spectators heheheh So badass. Your plot for world domination is almost complete TK ;)
  15. and again and again and again :) I know what you mean ;)
  16. Hey dcreatorx, why not share what you have learned to solve the problem? That might help others in the future :)
  17. Oh - watch out for shipping - those HK suppliers have great prices and silly shipping costs... Like the bag of 100 LED's I saw last week for 99c Buy-It-Now, but with a $30 shipping fee.... Buyer beware!
  18. HD44780 driver = all good :)
  19. Dude, awesome. Awesome Awesome Awesome. Awesome. Did I mention awesome? ;) I did? Awesome. Hehehe you nicked that idea from the vX ;) And you're gonna beat me to it! And now you tease me about it! Argh!! :P ;D I won't join the masses of people asking "when? when? when?" but I will suggest to those people that maybe a click or two on that paypal link up there might give you more resources to finish it sooner ;)
  20. Did you forget something? ;)
  21. I think you're talking about some kind of actuator like a servo or something... There was talk of a midi controlled drum beater recently too. You might want to check out some robotics forums to see what's required, then you could trigger the device with a DOUT or something...
  22. Someone on this board was offering 50mm faders recently, and AFAIK they're still available.
  23. I'm not sure what you mean mate? How do you plan on testing components without soldering? If you just use the parts as per TK's design, you'll be fine :)
  24. Damn dude you're like a dog with a bone when it comes to that synth ;)
  25. Nice one :)
