    You always need to use the N package as it will fir the sockets. I have the SN74HC595N, I guess it's the good one over the CD version... Anyone can confirm ?

  14. It is normal the fanthom power led remains lit after the button has been depressed, all the behringer mixers do that. Your phantom power is probably working, but that kind of power isn't adequate to power this type of mic which requires much less power, where do you connect the mic ?
  15. the midibox 64 only supports 16x2 LCDs, it doesn't support encoders, all else will require the new pic18f452 with MIOS.
