  1. *What* do you see? And how (or by who) was the 2nd pic programmed? Is it possible it was programmed in Low Voltage Mode? Bye, Moebius
  2. Whistling ;D M
  3. Hmm.. Are you sure it doesn't say: between 0-5v? That sounds like more typical LCD contrast voltage to me. (Could be a typo on the datasheet) Bye, Moebius
  4. But how Your SID ever could make it - if you can make Broccoli18 without wrong connections? Sorry for whining, Moebius
  5. Have a look at the Q&As: http://www.avishowtech.com/midibox/wiki/index.php/Question%20and%20Answers#QA1 M
  6. Hi, The datasheet refers to KS0066 as a driver and it should be HD44780 compliant. See also "Customer Comments" in that product page. Bye, Moebius
  7. Well, Using linux version of the software.. might help. M
  8. Well, another way is TO NOT be so #!?"#@ newbie. Seems like some people manage this better than others. The cramps in my middle finger is another thing.. should have learned by now. Some people just rather Fuck UP by themselves and then whine-- Mr. Loosewire. Bye, Moebius
  9. The most BBDs are hard to find - but there is still plenty of old MN3207s floating around. And Shanghai Belling makes BL3207s and BL3208s (and probably had MN3207s made for http://www.visualsound.net/bbd.htm.. just marked as MN--) I'd guess those are made with original Panasonic prosess.. licenced or stolen ;) http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/ has a analog delay project: AD-3208. Bye, Moebius Byt the way, Marcel - Don't you say you got those MN3011s...
  10. Oh - Smash used some magic tricks and made 'em disappear. ;D Actually, he has made his own versions of the boards, just check his site for the documentation/ placement guide. Bye, Moebius
  11. Yes it does. Default behaviour. M
  12. Great news ;D
  13. Hi, see the MIOS function reference: http://www.ucapps.de/mios_fun.html , especially http://www.ucapps.de/mios_fun.html#MIOS_AIN_PinGet - I think it reads AIN in 10bit resolution. Bye, Moebius
  14. ;D Check the documentation jpg on the voti's site. Dimensions are there. M
  15. Aargh. http://www.voti.nl M
  16. Yup ;) Those voltages seem ok. Now, if you're sure, everything is connected to the right pins.. you could try to burn the PIC. Bye, Moebius
  17. No no. In this configuration it's simply tapping midi signalls from core. Bye, Moebius p.s. By the way - are you sure you haven't created a midi feedback loop, when introducing LTC to the system?
  18. Those are pretty common "tactile" switches with long "shafts", should be pretty easy to find. Have a look: http://www.midibox.org/midibox_sid_photos/ Bye, Moebius
  19. Hi. That's not funny at all! ;D Actually, your PIC is working as it should, that resistor disables the low voltage programming mode (that automatically allocates PIC pin(s) for a programming interface, from the port connected to LCD). So, you've burned pic in LVP mode. Try again, erase the pic and burn the bootstrap with the resistor in the right place. Bye, Moebius
  20. Sounds good. The voltage here to watch - actually, directly from parallel port, is D0. Teh Broccoli uses that resistor for current limiting, so it could be critical, if voltage is near 5v. Do you have gnd from the parallel port connected to vss? Shouldn't be a problem. The pic warming up is most likely wiring error. Bye, Moebius
  21. portdiag.exe in the broccoli18 package. M
  22. But hey, pay_c! What is the app file he shoud upload? Bye, Moebius
  23. Hi, I'm not familiar with MIOS Studio.. but isn't bankstick option "grayed out" while doing MIOS or application upload? It's for sending suitable data to the bankstick. Yup, also SID apps to all the cores. Bye, Moebius
  24. Hi Good. I think easiest way today is to use MIOS Studio for that. (the old method was to use perl scripts that came with the MIOS/App packages) You can choose the target core ID in it. You'll have to change IDs of the SID apps too. Yup. Bye, Moebius
