  2. No bridges on SmashTV boards, they are double sided. MIDI sockets included, and a MIDIBox sticker.
  3. yep i thought computers were involved
  4. hi the ps/2 dance mat is using the HID protocol, that is it is seen as a 9 buttons joystick or similarly.. You could use PureData and the HID object to reuse that input as MIDI. If you are interested i happen to have a patch for PD doing just that. Simone
  5. MidiBox can be "complex" but it s always rather "easy" yes, eventually the CORE alone can handle 8 DINs on J5

  8. hi i ve tried today this stuff on my ML-2510 with decent results. (thanks jfmateos)
  9. Don t you have a script that will write doco by itself? Or at least one that will make order on mine? Sneaker, thanks for spreading the word, i was wondering waht is that device on top of the Alesis, that looks like a bread toaster..
  10. I ve ordered some new buttons but i d like to know the tool you ve used to put the rubber back, maybe i can save some of them for the future..
  11. we too!! Sorry i can t help with technical details but i was just wondering: why don t you study the SID application to see what it is needed and where? Simone
  12. me? :) anyway i have here in front of me a desoldered button and although it is possible to pull off the gray rubber, it is impossible to put it back again, you probably need a spacial tool. NO, this is not the proper replacement part, the right Digikey part is: EG4346-ND the E-switch part number is: TL9000F120QG and in the service manula yo ucan find the part number from Yamaha: SKEYAG
  13. these are 13mmx13mm, the ones i need are 8mmx8mm thanks anyway,,
  14. hi the bottom cover can be opened just prying with a screwdriver or similar
  15. hi Flemming my original C64 PSU had the trafo dipped in a solid block of resin..

  17. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D http://parts.digikey.com/1/parts/979045-switch-tact-soft-touch-120gf-tl9000f120qg.html EDIT: Farnel stocks them but with an additional fee to ship to Europe, i can try to ask for samples directly from E-switch EDIT2: E-switches ships samples only to USA and Japan DigiKey ships to Europe for a reasonable price of 90 $ (my bad they also ship for 18$, maybe)
  18. hola @Artesia: these buttons are 8mm and not 6mm so they wouldn t fit the fooprint, also they have a soft feeling which i would like to keep, if possible and the pins pitch is 4mm (or something like that) @Stryd: i ve sent a mail to a repair shop in Barcelona, waiting for response.. FInding the service manual would be great
  19. hi i have a Yamaha RM1X with some bad buttons, i thought i could try to clean them up with some special spray or likesuchas but they look rather "sealed", it would probably be better to change all of them, can anybody point me to right direction to get some replacement? They hace a "gummy" top and a black body and a silent/soft feeling or maybe a "soft/silent/clicky" feeling as they click but with a padded feedback the picture is quite bad but i only have a web camera at the moment.. thanks simone
  20. hi yesterday i came back home and had 3 months worth of parcels to open, sweet! To all of you who sent me something: i got it, thanks Simone
