  1. got mine as well. thanks! now if only i had the time to work on any of my projects :/ in the summer, swimming comes first!
  2. dont' forget nils, it'll hold two beers for two-fistin'.
  3. i've had them take at least a month for parts orders. i simply don't buy from them any more.
  4. wow i didn't even know this thread was going. now i have to decide whether to throw out my original seq design, ignore yours, or build both! if anybody is getting in on this project and missed the ultracore group buy, send me a pm. i'm out for now but over time maybe enough orders would build up that another run could happen.
  5. you're correct. same parts without the 10uf caps. otherwise the parts lists are the same as smash's. you can use pics from smash. if i remember right, his are cheaper than what i paid at mouser.
  6. no problem twin-x! thanks for keeping midibox.org alive and well :). ultra
  7. hey that was quick. i love our postal service. :) except i hate our creepy delivery guy who looks in the windows and chases us down. i hope he got into trouble...
  8. they will all arrive soon! i've been too busy to get this done, but i finally got them shipped out on saturday. even then, i had to show up at the post office a half hour before closing with a pile of packages.
  9. hey guys, i do have the pcbs and most are packaged up, but i've been terribly busy recently and i haven't put as much time into the bulk order as i'd like to. i'm hoping to have them all shipped by friday afternoon. i haven't received a single message asking about status, and i'd like to thank you all for your patience. ultra
  10. pcbs have been shipped. apparently the delivery date is tomorrow (jul 1) already.
  11. hey ringmod, yes you've been included in the order :) ultra
  12. hi guys, the pcbs have now been ordered. lead time is 9 days + 3 days shipping. i'm still waiting on a couple of payments. if you ordered pcbs and haven't yet paid, don't worry. they are still ordered and reserved. in the meantime i'll be preparing the envelopes and doing as much as i can to be able to mail them out right away. i'll do what i can to get them out asap but please be patient :). i am curious if anybody else is using this pcb for anything besides a seq or router.
  13. poison and tesla are coming here to play in august. i can't wait.
  14. hi berg, don't be afraid to put a message out if you're looking for parts from recent bulk orders. many people order a lot of extra and it never hurts to throw it out there that you're looking for some parts. the worse answer you can get is a no :). ultra

count me in too. i need it soon. for a school project! :P
  16. i need to be included in any and all bulk orders that are still available for the xoxbox. i thought for some reason i was left out of the pcb group buy but it turns out i wasn't. sorry!!!!!! ultra
  17. of course cheap is always good. i am toying with the idea of making one that has a drum trigger type feel to it. i would need to use force sensing resistors because it has to recognize my fingers on the pad until i remove them. i found this company called sensitronics (http://www.sensitronics.com) and they're mailing me a few to play with. this was after i told them that i wouldn't wanna pay a lot and i'd need 88. i've been told they're expensive but i guess i'll see after i've decided whether or not to use them. they also have other neat devices, such a strip that senses force and also works as a linear analog pot as you slide your finger across it. for anybody looking at touch sensing devices, definitely check them out. i'm still interested in trying other ways to make a touch sensitive trigger as well.

uwe rocks! too bad that album sucks :(.
  19. hey guys, i have received many payments (thanks) so please don't be worried if you haven't received a message saying it's been received. i'm still waiting on more payments to start the order, so sit tight. in a few days i will try to get ahold of those who haven't paid yet because i want to try to place the order at the beginning of next week. i've received virtually no e-mails asking me to hurry, and i appreciate the patience! ultra
  20. has anybody created any kind of trigger device that has a similar feel as a keyboard key? something springy and velocity sensitive, relatively accurate. i'm interested in creating something similiar to the jammer (http://musicscienceguy.vox.com/). i'd like to build it from scratch, rather than modify an expensive keyboard. also, i'd want to use midibox to map the notes instead of computer software. the midibox mapping and all that i could figure out, i just have no idea how you'd make a switch that has a good, velocity sensitive, playable feel to it. i would think that a quiet jammer keyboard would be a must. any ideas would be appreciated! ultra
