  1. TK have you ever thought of supporting PCM playback in the Midibox Sid? Im not sure how one could do this, maybe by uploading the PCM register code thingies via bank stick. Totally a novelty but would be cool all the same! :)
  2. I would like to buy the kit with 4 pics too please. Didnt have the moola all along, but Santy dropped off a brown envelope.
  3. Probably nosey customs employees having a sneaky peak. ;)

Lol, it was a joke. ;) Maybe a whack in the ass would of made it more obvious! :P
  5. Lads thank a lot for the in depth replies. ;D The terminology of the average current rating had me confused, and made me real paranoid! I was wondering alright how the hell could 4 diodes increase current lol. But just had to make sure!!! Thanks again.
  6. Edit: the datasheet says Average rectified Current Output = 0.8A Surely if i bought 2A one as you say, it would be putting out too much current? Its not the rating thats 0.8A i think, its actually the output it gives. :-\
  7. Prof that helps a lot alright! Thanks a lot. I was just worried that they output was the value they gave, and if i went 200mA higher id blow it up! I can get 1.0a ones at my local store which is the next best thing. Thanks a lot. ;)
  8. Hi there, i need to know if the 0.8a Bridge Rectifier is rated upto 800mA, or if its output is 800mA? I'll be using it in the Optimised 8xSid C64 PSU Circuit. Could i use an alternative such as 1.2A “W04 400V" bridge rectifier which is used in Wilbas MB6582 instead? I really need to know this, because i dont want to blow the thing up. Would prefer to pick up an alternative one up locally instead of ordering one component online, minimum orders and all that. 0.8a diodes seem to be rarer than others.
  9. Hmmmmmmmm! well we may have a bassline mode in the MB-sid but.... This is a very very intriguing concept indeed. It could be extremely popular also seen as the x0x0x0x waiting list is about a year! It would be a cool midibox project, provided the hardware is available, plus the big boys have enough time to put into it.
  10. This is a great project. I think the sounds of Swinsid arent too shabby at all: http://www.swinkels.tvtom.pl/swinsid/ It has probably improved a lot since, but even those sounds, sound like a decent sid emulation
  11. LMAO! It makes me mad to think this f****r was probably asking s**t loads of questions on this forum, and could still be!
  12. 2 Sidstations are for sale. This one only has a starting bid of $1,350 / €920 :P Linky 1 This one is currently @ $471 / €320 Linky 2 Think of all the other synths you could buy for 1,300 bucks! Makes you appreciate Thorsten's creation a lot more!
  13. I would just like to say thanks to you both, for your effort, and everything youve put into this. And i think everyone else on here should be grateful, plus, patient.
  14. On most sites, you have to login to the Wiki, even if youre logged into the forum.
  15. Ah! I got confused with the "6 four-operator voices" bit on the MBFM page! For some reason i read it as 6 operators per voice, with 4 voices. Cheers for the replies.
  16. Goblinz, heres your answer i think. In case ya missed the post.
  17. I would just like to know if theres any plans for making the Midibox FM compatible with the sysEX patches/sound banks of The Yamaha DX range or Native Instruments FM7? If not, is there anyone working on a program that could convert the registers of these Sysex files, to be compatible with the midibox FM? Yes i know, its fun to make your own patches but this would be a really great feature to have. Im a noob when it comes to Midibox FM, so sorry if im wasting peoples time! ;)
  18. Wilba is this sale, "Old Stock As New?" Im just curious to know the background of these chips, is it similar to the deal with the 6582 SIDs? Ive put myself down for 1 set regardless of their background!
  19. Oh right! LOL :) I was thiking maybe thats what you meant too! :-[ That guy sent that video to TK as a video response on youtube. Just to show him his love of the C64, and the SID sound.
  20. Lol! Sorry. Ill try to explain better so. The guy in the video, is just a really big C64 fan. I don't think hes a member of the Midibox forum. TK has that video in his favourites on his youtube account. And I found that video because I was looking at TK's favourite youtube videos. Hope thats more understandable. Woudlnt it be cool if there was only one Language in the World?
  21. Hes just a hardcore c64 fan i think. TK has that favourited, thats how i found it.
  22. Thanks a lot man!!! Thats one hell of a description!
  23. Oooops i posted this in the wrong thread. :-[ I meant to post it in response to the Seq V3 Session 3 Video. Thanks for your response anyway TK. Some beautiful sounds in that vid: bgjET6dNA14
  24. Hmm, bumping an old thread here. Anyways, TK i was wondering if you could tell me what Synths you used in that video? Especially the first Synth, it sounds like FM synthesis (midibox FM maybe?), but i could be wrong. Cheers! P.S. Dude, if you have any sort of artist profile id love to see it. ;) Although you seem the more modest type!
