Also looking for a set of programmed PICs for my MB-6582 build, located in Vancouver Canada. Plz ping me if you can help me out! Not a huge deal tho, guess I can buy a PicKit if I have to haha
Hey @dwestbury -- looking at your photo you have the header at J1A.. I assume this setup was only during the build (correct me if I'm wrong) ... What did you end up doing for the final product? Did you put a DIN socket and use a DIN plug for your power supply like others on here, or did you do something else?
I guess I'm probably best off to wait until kits are ready and order PCBs + Kit at the same time, eh? No use to waste $$/effort on shipping two seperate packages ...
it will just be taxes. same thing happened to me when I bought some DIY kit before, and I had to pay like $50 CDN in taxes, based on the value of the package I received. :\
Whoa, that was like the shortest group buy ever. 3 or 4 days?? hahaha ;) Not that I wanted in, but just looking and realized the initial post was only made a few days ago... hehehe
I assume this is for North America, or at least result can be shipped to there (western Canada specifically, for myself). I've added myself to the list. :)
Note that you could take the PCB layout files made by Wilba and have them custom made by a local shop, if you had to. Might be worth doing since it doesn't seem like anyone is giving up their PCBs. ;)
