nice loop! what is your monitoring system for mastering? (it is subjective but it seems like too much compression for my taste)
-
sorry, i was not sure if you would choose the smd eeprom or fit the pcb for the dip version.
-
hi nils, why the eeprom 24c04 is flying? there is no enough space to include the dip version?

It is briefly explained in the technical details of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOS_Technology_SID

Some no-news about the noise problem. Microchip tech service was unable to find a reference datasheet for their version of the ay-3-8912 chips. And in other way, Sergey Bulba ( http://bulba.untergrund.net ) never met that problem... he gave me the email of another guy but i still did not contact him however. I have the soundchips in a shoe box but not enough time for now to build the synth :-\

Hi everyone, As I do not have any C64 power supply unit, I am looking for another solution. Jsaily from Lemon64 forum is making a clone of the C64 PSU... here are the links to the forum thread and schematics: http://www.lemon64.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27552&start=105 http://www.netsonic.fi/~kelpf25b/C64-PSU.zip What do you think about? :D edit: i forgot to mention -> using an external 20ac/9ac output transformer image: http://www.netsonic.fi/~kelpf25b/IMG_1090.JPG

[MB-6582 related] PT-10 box Europe Bulk Order Thread

bad news from radiospares france... since march 2008 they only sell to professional customers :-\ -
Not finished mine. But are you talking of J7 5v OUT ? from usb power as explained at: http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp_usb_gm5.html

Hello, Une variante de midibox lc ? http://www.ucapps.de/midibox_lc_fr.html Ton copain sera utile pour la soudure... pas tout à fait pareil que monter un pc ;)
-
That is the fact... due to the lack of information on the Internet, I hoped there was a sound generator chip AND an additional pcm chip. SO not an interesting sound chip :-\
-
Short auto-reply... that texas instrument chip seems to be as similar as the 2 sony 3430045B chips (found in the se/30). Maybe a production under license for a stereo model. So... the "apple sound chip" family is 343-something chips and 343S-something for stereo version ;)
-
Hi, I just opened a mac lc630 and was looking for the soundchip... i found nothing on the internet about that chip ??? I just know that the ASC "apple sound chip" is inside all mac models from mac 2 to mac 660 except in quadras with the introduction of the EASC "enhanced apple sound chip" (same but adding a pcm output with a sony-built sound chip )... that apple sound chip is very popular :) It seems to be 8 bits, 4-voices, wave table synth, stereo generator. http://www.ozonehouse.com/mark/cv.html Mark Lentczner worked on it. On the motherboard, I suppose that the apple sound chip is TI 4BA2E9W 343S0129-C, isn't it?

I tried to find some czech <-> english online translator but it was not very usefull... http://www.tranexp.com:2000/InterTran?type=url&url=http%3A%2F%2Fvelesoft.speccy.cz%2Fturbosound-cz.htm&text=&from=che&to=eng :P so I only read schematics ;)
-
There is no reference to the turbo-sound project: http://velesoft.speccy.cz/turbosound-cz.htm The goal is not similar (improving sounds in a zx spectrum)... but the schematics are interesting. edit: turbo-sound example http://velesoft.speccy.cz/turbo_sound/inbeatwin_demo.mp3 (warning: lot of noisy waves)
-
I follow you with 8 of them. I dunno what do to with yet but you caught the cheapest way.
-
Hi, I am interested by the whole thing including leds and programmed pics. If you agree to ship the package to France! I have to see the different parts I need to their related projects. Matthieu
-
Unfortunately your picture is from a classic zx spectrum without any soundchip and not from the 128 version with the ay-3-8912... but it is still soldered! you can see that chip on: http://mpc.fab.free.fr/sinclair/pzxvszx.htm

4$us = 2.7euros. I do not know if the chip I will receive is still working. I could take 8 of yours (and next I will see what to do with :) ... is there a better deal in Australia?
