  1. ....well. She is my wife! :hyper:
  2. The rehearsal audio of the corresponding song https://soundcloud.com/hertz-musik/planchando
  3. I had some strange behaviors with the pre-release. Triggering the dumps with an external controller erased my mixermaps. Even with all disabled in the midi page the seq restarted with some notes. I also had some problems with the midi router . I think there a re some bugs with the new controller assignations. Best FC
  4. mbSid new face Thnaks again TK and Wilba :phone:
  5. I have found the same bug, no lowercase patterns. Best FC
  6. I had a similar problem with a couple lcd's I had to change and finally decided to overlap them a little(the back light over the terminal part, isolating with some tape) and it worked OK. You almost don't notice the height difference on the front-panel.
  7. Hi, it is possible to do but in song mode only. Best regards FC
  8. Hi, for anybody that has this problem in FL, simply click on the empty space of the plug in ( the diagonally striped area) and then try to open the panel.
  9. Hi, I had some problems with the bpm wiring also and discovered that the segment wiring is inverted (I think the common pin also). There is a thread about it somewhere  . You probably have also another problem because ALL segments should not be on but without a picture of your actual wiring it's hard to say where the problem is. The data says common cathode but perhaps try with common anode...
  10. Hi, the knobs that click when you turn them are called detented encoders and are all ready the ones you are intended to use building a seq. Latching switches would be difficult but perhaps you could use (with some simple hardware modifications) small incandescent bulbs and feel their heat. Greetings FC
  11. OK, thanks. I think I'll clone the tracks or use the transposition mode with a bus to control two tracks with one pattern. Anyway, so this means you can't patch the internal buses on the nodes? Best wishes FC
  12. Yes, its a indicator of activity on all combined MIDI IN ports and all combined MIDI OUT ports.
  13. You can connect your combined midi in/out led's to any shift register where you have some free pins, then simply configure your MBSEQ_HW file with any word processor so the shift register (SR) number and pin number matches your hardware setup. ################################################## # LED assignments to DOUT pins # SR = 0: LED disabled # SR = 1..16: directly forwarded to DOUT pin # SR = 17..24: forwarded to a 8x8 LED matrix ################################################## # SR Pin LED_TRACK1 1 0 LED_TRACK2 1 1 LED_TRACK3 1 2 LED_TRACK4 1 3 # SR Pin LED_PAR_LAYER_A 1 4 LED_PAR_LAYER_B 1 5 LED_PAR_LAYER_C 1 6 # SR Pin LED_BEAT 1 7 # SR Pin LED_MIDI_IN_COMBINED 0 0 LED_MIDI_OUT_COMBINED 0 0
  14. Thanks for encouraging me to do the right thing. Done! Encoders working like they should!
  15. Hi, is there a 'formal way' to patch two instruments (two midi ports) to one pattern. I tried to use a bus as an output in a pattern and created to nodes patching the bus to two physical outputs, but nothing, no midi. Greetings FC
  16. I have checked all voltages and all is OK. Haven't found shorts either. Hope all goes well this time.
  17. I feared someone would say that  . Probably the best solution anyway, to the bench then. Thanks
  18. Hi, I wired the encoders the wrong way and the numbers go down when I turn cw and up when I turn the encoders ccw. Is there a way to fix this in code? Before I get accustomed  . Best FC
  19. Hi, after some time I had some problems with my MB 6582 and found out that a couple of the shift registers going to the sid ( to pins A0, A1,....) where bad, one of the cores (core ..01) is bad and doesen't generate the triangle weave with the testtone application (with the interconnection test the same, the pin is dead) and what is worse my sid chips are dead (I'll re-check know that I have discovered the other problems, but I think most of them are bad). OK, this is my dilemma. I got new sid chips, I have checked the voltage everywhere and done all the test, even so I don't want to kill the sid's again. Could it be a degenerative problem, I mean the sids got bad burned the SR and the PIC? Or could the problem be somewhere else and my new sids be at risk? Has anyone had some similar experience? Thanks in advance.
  20. Thanks, and thanks TK. Your attitude helping us out and sharing your knowledge free with all of us encourage us to build this incredible machines and is inspiration to keeep us doing music. Thanks man.
  21. Chips arrived today!!!! All OK! Thanks! :phone:
